21 2 Bridges Rd, FairfieldOn 1/2/26, we noticed that our five-year-old dog, Lexi, wasn’t herself and that something seemed off. We took her to our veterinarian at Willowbrook Animal Hospital in Fairfield, NJ, where she was seen by Dr. Ilka Bott-Wentworth (Dr. BW). After examining Lexi, Dr. BW told us that she had injured her back. She prescribed medication and advised us to monitor her closely.
By 1/6/26, we noticed that Lexi had begun dragging her back right paw. We immediately reached out to Dr. BW, who recommended that we take her to Eclipse Emergency Hospital. Throughout this time, Dr. BW constantly checked on Lexi and truly went above and beyond her duties as a veterinarian. She also communicated with Eclipse Hospital and checked on Lexi. Dr. BW spoke with the doctors there to see how she was doing.
I would highly recommend our veterinarian, Dr. Ilka Bott-Wentworth. If it weren’t for her quick action and dedication, Lexi could have been paralyzed if we had waited. The care and love she showed Lexi were truly above and beyond expectations. We will forever be indebted to Dr. BW. ?

Our friend attended culinary school and owns/manages a restaurant, and is certainly a fellow "foodie." She raved, so we went! Not disappointed at all, the service was top notch but not "in your face" in annoying fashion. I had a few beers, my wife had a cosmo or two. Started with Carpaccio and calamari, both favorites of ours and fantastic. Calamari was perfectly crunchy and tasteful, and they brought the red pepper flakes upon request. I got the prime rib, which is a Monday night special and I'm told if you don't get there by 6:30pm, you run the risk of them running out. That was truth, as the table next to us arrived 20 minutes after we ordered and were denied as they had no more. Amazing. Although a ribeye is my go to, I just couldn't resist the strong recommendation on the prime rib and I was not disappointed. My only regret was not ordering the larger portion, it was fantastic. So flavorful with a dipping sauce/gravy to die for. The long peppers my wife ordered as a side really packed a punch, wow were they good. Photo included of all! Highly recommend this place as it's somewhat relaxed environment (I wore a jacket, but many were in cargo shorts/pull over shirts. Great service, decent pricing. Give it a try.
