“Whenever i have to paint i go this store on jamaica ave. They owner is very nice will give you a break if cash. But he has 2 guys that work there and are extremely very helpful. They help me decide the color i wanted to go with my rugs color. They are great assest to the store. They know what you need and they don't make buy extra stuff . Just amount you need. I like going there because i feel they are honest and there quality of paint is the best. The service is great. They know what they doing. Won't lie benjamin paint is expensive but good quality. “Never in my life would I think I’d leave a hardware review but here I am! My husband needed a brass cleaner on a Saturday afternoon around the time most hardware stores are closed. We found this one was still opened and called to make sure it actually was since we had just tried going over to another one that was supposed to be open according to Google and it wasn’t. To avoid another pointless trip I called this one before we headed there and a lovely gentleman by the name of Jose answered and literally gave us the best customer service experience that is hard to come by these days! He said they had the cleaner in stock and asked if we’d like for him to have it ready for us at the counter which we happily agreed to. He called us back a minute later to let us know that it was actually out of stock and that to please excuse him. Like, what?! So nice of him to do! Thank you Jose!”

“I have been to this store on multiple occasions over the years and am generally OK with the services received. Today was the exception. Some amateur comedian was at the desk and clowned around with me while I was there to pick up an online order placed last night. At after 1000 a.m., the order was not ready; the web site indicated the order was going to be available two hours after opening (0700 a.m.). I indicated I had not received an email indicating the order was complete when asked -- and then he looked it up and discovered they had an order that was not yet processed. Three people were at the front desk and no one was doing anything substantial other than talking when I arrived, so no one was paying attention to business. So, while another individual made up my order, the comedian tried again to joke with me about the paint color chosen. I corrected him and he said he was just joking around. I didn't react at all, but didn't indicate I was amused either. I remained polite and was very quiet as I received my receipt and paint cans and left. Be prepared for a wait, if they are busy, not to have your order ready if placed online. My wait wasn't very long, but if that had been the excuse they provided me had I asked why I had to wait or why my order wasn't done earlier, I might have had a funny retort for them. But I wasn't amused by the scenario. Very unprofessional and not what I expect at a retail store.”
