“Never an issue for the past couple of years. Friendly and helpful as opposed to the horrible Hillsborough Branch. However once I went and it was closed for lunch because there was only 1 person working and her boss told her not to put a note on the door. So i can't give it 5 stars.”

“Great team at the Basking Ridge Post Office. The hard working ladies Rita & Ana are always welcoming and cognizant of pushing the customers through as quickly as possible. They are great with the passport applications and renewals. I go there pretty frequently for package drop off and the team always welcomes me with a smile and warm greeting. Once I hand off my packages, I know that they are in good hands of arriving safely at their destination.”
“It's no secret, in the last 3 years, there have been a lot of changes within the Post Office (to put it one way). However, when mistakes have happened, the Long Valley Post Office has been so helpful, understanding, and professional. They managed to get a package sent to a different Washington rerouted and delivered to me 2 days later. Just now, I checked the tracking for one of my packages, and they managed to get it out for delivery today, minutes after it arrived at the hub. You guys are great! Keep up the awesome work!”
“Everyone at the Bernardsville Post Office is wonderful. The people at the desk are warm and friendly and alway helpful. They have always been helpful with any question or package I have. My mail carrier always has a smile and takes care in making sure we receive our packages and letters in perfect condition! Thank you all for all you do!”
“Bound Brook Post Office on Mountain is very good -- longer hours on Saturday which is helpful. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but the service at this office is very good.”

“Got myself and my daughters' passports done at this location last Friday. The associate who helped us did a fantastic job getting the applications organized, passport photos taken, and payment done all while helping walk-in customers with their parcels. I really appreciated her efficiency.”
“Have never had any problems with this post office.I really like the automated walk up machine which you can print stamps from. It also has a scale for you to weigh a package and print postage from. If you're tech savvy, it can be faster than waiting in line.They have 4 outside mail boxes you can drop off letters at (two of which are drive up which is great). If you have a smaller package which already has postage, there is a drop bin inside that you can quickly use and get out fast (there is a size limit, probably the size of a small toaster oven).They have the standard USPS packing materials, as well as greeting cards and even some gift cards. Pretty handy if you're in a pinch.”

Inefficient, not at all friendly nor responsive on a personal level. Too bad! I've been to post offices that are Great! “Despite all the other negative reviews about passport appointments, my appointment in January was pretty smooth and fine. BE PREPARED TO WAIT A WHILE. I had to wait 10-15 mins for the passport agent to attend to me. DON’T BOOK HERE IF YOU ARE ON A TIMED SCHEDULE. Come at a free time because they do take their sweet time. The passport agent is pretty nonchalant and he worked with his airpods in so.. don’t come here if you’re sensitive about that. Overall, I got my passport done easy in less than an hour here including a picture done for ID.”
“I see all the negative reviews, but I have to say I had an outstanding experience (btw - why in many of the negative reviews do people feel a need to call out someone by race? No one wrote the “white” girl or guy. It’s always black or dark-skinned. I’m Caucasian & I find this to be disturbing.) First - someone actually answered the phone! I was so grateful for that. I live in FL now & you will not find 1 area Post Office that will answer the phone. The phone just rings & rings until it cuts you off… over & over again. You have no choice but to call the Federal number & good luck with getting to the Post Office you need to speak with. Second - with that said, I had the great pleasure of speaking to Melinda. She is an outstanding representative of great customer service. Yes, in the USPS. She was helpful, kind, professional, efficient & understood exactly what my request was about. Yes, some of the negative reviews state that the USPS worker is on the phone - guess what? That employee is doing their job, not flitting around on a personal call. There are customers who do call in for assistance & these employees must address the concern, question, or request. Thank you for answering the phone, Melinda. I am grateful for your help & for correcting the mailing error I made all the way from FL to NJ. Excellent customer service and I wish I had somewhere to commend her on the USPS site. She deserves to be recognized for helping a customer to the extent that she did, in a timely & professional manner. btw - rude, disinterested, tone, not being helpful are subjective complaints. Sometimes an employee is doing the job within the constraints of Postal guidelines and they cannot deviate from that, no matter how many times you ask.”
“Shoutout to the ladies who work there! I didn’t catch their name but they helped me with the passport process and they were very patient with me as I had no idea what I was doing. I went to south bound brook, Somerville, bridgewater, they were all extremely rude. Raritan was great ????”
