“My eleven year old went in for bloodwork today. She does not do well, anxiety wise, when it comes to getting her blood drawn. Although she didn’t express it to the phlebotomist, she could tell. She did her best to distract her and keep her calm. Post blood being drawn, my daughter seemed fine and we headed out. As we were at the elevator, she got light headed and started to go down. I ran back into Labcorp with her to get help and the receptionist jumped into action. She got us right to a chair in the back and helped me get my daughter back and conscious. Although the receptionist jumped right into emergency nurse mode, she was talking me and my daughter through everything. It was such a great and comforting experience knowing that even though we were done, we could rush back in and still be taken care of.”
