“Was looking for a specific part as I was preparing to head out and needed to get my bike back on the road ASAP! Ordered the part online in the evening and arrived when they first opened. Comon sense prevails that it takes time to process the order once they open and to be patient. Due to my time crunch, arrived when they opened, hopikng the part would be available even though they jist opened. Luck was on my side and Rich was very accommodating and actually had part in his hand as i walked in. Thankful it was ready and they were understanding to needing the part in a rush. Truth be told, would not fault them if it was not ready, but that was not the case. Definitely would return back.”

“I had a brake problem, I told them the brake pads were worn out, they said no, I still have brakes for a few months, they didn't decide to change them, which I appreciated in this shop. I have the same problem with my new bike, I'll come by on Wednesday to fix it.”

“Needed a part in a pinch. Checked the online inventory and noticed the Morristown store had the item in stock that I needed. A major online retailer had same part at a higher price and it would take several days to get there. Headed to the store and oicked up the item and willl be back on the road. With several locations, it good to know that all the stores are locally owned and happy to support local businesses.”

“Finding Arland was the greatest thing to possibly happen for my triathlon development. I bought a second hand used tri bike and didn’t really know where to start with fitting, so I originally tried fitting it myself. I thought my fit was ok, but figured I should see a fitter. Arland has done so much with my bike and has tailored it to my body perfectly, and has made this bike actually comfortable! Didn’t even think that was possible. He also has helped with my cycling technique and shoe fit for the bike. Truly great at his craft!”
“I ordered a new bike on Amazon to surprise my wife for Mother’s Day. I visited the shop for a front break. Since I put the bike together myself he did a once over and adjusted everything needed free of charge.

The team has expertly serviced so many of my bikes and my friends' that I've lost count. They stock a great range of quality bikes, bike parts, and accessories that they stand behind and can help you get started with. When there's time, they may also suggest local routes and rides they've enjoyed. During the warm months, they host fantastic bike events that bring the community together. They have multiple locations in the area, and all are convenient to both drive and take public transit to. All the locations meet the same high standards of selection and service. Hilltop has been a tremendously helpful and positive part of my life, and if you're looking for a bike shop, I highly recommend them.”

“Over the decades, I have likely purchased 8 bikes at Jay's but none in the last 15-20 years as the kids aged out and the two of ours are still good. Brought a vintage 1992 Tommasini racer I was gifted for rehab as gears were not working and no longer wanted lock-in pedals (bike had not been ridden in 25-30 years). Replaced cables, installed new pedals, adjusted rear derailer and a few other repairs. Everything worked perfectly, done when promised and at the cost estimated when dropped off. I bought my own tires and tubes, putting them on a few weeks prior- in hindsight, should have let Jay's do it. Took way too long, a hassle and likely didn't save much, if anything.”
“Really well kept shop, wrenching done in the open, nice specialized selection and helpful people. My opinion, a good LBS is key in any good downtown, and HTB helps make Cranford’s a really idyllic downtown.”
