“This is my favorite post office. There are quite a few to choose from in Fort Lee and in this area, but at this location you always get one on one attention and don’t feel rushed and always get the answers that you’re asking for. These people really are here to help you. So glad it’s down the street from me. It’s such a great part of this neighborhood.”

“It's an impressive building on 8th Avenue and 34th Street, across from Madison Square Garden, that's built like an ancient Greek temple! It was built between 1911 and 1914, with an annex built between 1932 and 1935.”

“Always has a very good selection of stamps compared to other post offices and you can't necessarily count on that in New York City. The clerks are also very helpful with whatever you need to do.”

“This USPS gets a lot of flack but they are all hard workers. L. Rotali is incredibly sweet, and was crazy helpful while I struggled to send an international package. He was patient and even lent me his pen, which is rare for post office people! If you're patient, they will be patient too.”

“So, I just signed up just to leave 2 reviews (compliments) today: for both West New York post offices. This location is the one that my husband almost always goes to for my packages. The woman who is usually at the counter is very good at her job. I'm sorry, I don't know her name, but I've also seen her before when I used to drop off packages myself. The woman doesn't even need to be asked for a receipt- she automatically hands one. I'm talking about for prepaid labels. I mention this because I've lived at 3 different towns my whole life, and this is the only town that has NO ONE giving hassles to customers about receipts. I always need the receipts for proof of acceptance. And, at my previous town (not West New York), the office has lost a package after refusing to scan its label. So, I always had to beg or kind of argue for them to scan them. But not in this post office. So far, 0 lost packages. Over here, the employees, (especially the woman) are very helpful and polite, and don't yell about receipts. I actually hate this town and wish to move, but also don't want to because this is the BEST post office that I've EVER been to, period (and I've visited ones from several different towns). Love this post office and workers! They really work hard and correctly. I wanted to send my thanks to all of them.”

“Although I could not received service because the lime has closed for the service I was seeking, I had a positive experience. I asked a postal service man if he could confirm that one of the items I needed to submit was going to be accepted by the office. He went out of his way and asked another colleague about it and confirmed that it was right which gave me peace of mind and saved me resources. I appreciate his support.”

“Peggy was really great; I had an appointment for my five year old daughter's renewal of passport and she helped us in a jiffy. She was clear, friendly, speedy, and efficient; she took one good picture, we signed papers, she made copies, and we were out within 10 minutes. And TJ Kim was in the office at the time and was friendly, kind and tolerant of my happy children as we waited. I would give 10 stars.”

“Hard to find, essentially a walk-up only USPS in the Meadowlands outdoor shopping mall. Find Holiday Inn front entrance, turn left and walk down the breezeway to the end, way back in the corner hidden from sight.”

“Excellent service I went to make appointment for my daughter new passport than I realized this place doesn't have the passport service. But the staff was able to help me make an appointment in another office that offers the service. Amazing courtesy from the staff whom I am very thankful for her help and I really appreciate her so much.”

“Like most government buildings, post offices aren’t a lot of fun to be at. It’s dark, dingy, workers are rude etc, but Rodrigo is a ray of sunshine. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s gotten to a point where if I don’t see him, I’ll leave and try again next time and hope he’s there. I’ve literally turned around and went home with the same package 3x before. One time, I urgently needed to send a box out to return some items. Returning items is usually pretty swift- you make sure it’s labeled and skip the line and just stick it in the last window. That day, my package couldn’t fit in the designated area because there were other packages in there. TRAGICALLY, Rodrigo wasn’t there so I waited in line to ask the woman at the desk to help move the boxes out so I could fit mine in and she yelled at me and repeatedly said “if it does not fit, it is too big for us”. She literally yelled that over and over again and practically foamed at the mouth and seized at my request. (Typical post office experience which is why I usually just wait for Rodrigo). By the grace of god, when I left, Rodrigo was just coming back from lunch. He was so kind- he apologized for her and took my box in with him and wouldn’t even let me hold the door open for him. He is an absolute gem, the biggest, kindest, most patient and professional diamond in the rough. He explains how to fill out forms and thoroughly checks to make sure it’s filled out right, he tells me my options on how to mail something out and tells me the cost, he gives me a heads up if an envelope is too thick or stiff and if I should repackage it accordingly. I hate running errands but I’m truly so happy to see him at the post office! Rodrigo is a lifesaver in this neighborhood and we are so lucky to have him. For those of you who need a description, Rodrigo is light in complexion, greyish hair, wears glasses, and he could be 40 or 70 years old I have no clue because someone this lovely obviously turns back the hands of time and does not age at all but he’s probably the dude with a halo over his head and a bird napping on his shoulder. (He usually wears a name tag anyway).”

“Went here today for my passport appointment all the way from jersey city. Wait time is 5 mins. The lady at the front was very nice and helpful, she explained the forms andtime line for passport process. Compared to other USPS branch I would rather travel here since staff is nicer, barely have wait time and organized. this is definitely worth to travel compared to my jersey city usps branch. That lady should have a raise, she is helpful, respectful to all the customer that came and calm.”
