“I've been going to Juan for all needs for my cars. He's been very fair in terms of work that needs to done on them. He's hasn't upsold me on products that I don't need. I also go to his body shop in which my experiences have been the same. The person that previously had a problem with Juan's shop may have been having a bad day regarding some outside issues. I highly recommend him and the shop. I encourage you to not pay much attention to the reviewer with the negative comments. Come here if you want good work done on your vehicles.”

“Marvin is definitely a rare found in NYC nowadays.
He is so reliable, honest, transparent and very communicative.
I reached out for a difficult dent to repair; what he quoted was very reasonable. He described why the dent is technically challenging to repair due to its position on the edge of the quarter panel; then when I took my car to him, he reviewed carefully again and assessed. He then worked on it for 4 hours!! non stop just to make it as good as possible for me. He also accommodated my other quick request taking advantage of on site with him to take care of. Result is very good by my standards yet the humble Marvin only claimed he has just “done his best”.
If you have a dent to fix and in this area, go there, no brainer.”

Our car was damaged from tree limbs during a recent snowstorm. My wife took the car in based on a recommendation from Geico. Al and Stef took care of her, took the car, gave it an accurate estimate of work necessary and walked us through the process.
Dealing with any insurance is rarely pleasant but I can't speak highly enough of Al and the Fiero team. Their honesty, even when it may result in less repair work and money for them, was refreshing and welcome in a trying time. “I'd been looking for a local shop to take my car for a while, but with the sheer number it was difficult to decide until I came across Salerno. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful, which makes a huge difference for me. I also did not feel like they assumed I know nothing about cars (which is often the case as a woman until I start talking about what I DO know). They were very quick to look at what was needed, gather the parts, and the next day get the car done same-day. I find the prices to be very reasonable, especially compared to what the dealer quoted me for the same exact repair. Salerno was also way more thorough than the dealer on looking at what I pinpointed as concerns, and fixed exactly what I suspected was the issue. I'll note that I pointed out the same exact issue to the dealer, and it was absolutely overlooked. Definitely will be taking my car to Salerno for all future repairs!

Update:
Pick up was just as smooth. Received the vehicle with exterior and interior in very clean condition, and at full charge (guilty of bringing it dirty and very low charge). Damage is completely repaired.”

“After dropping off my 2013 Mustang GT, there was a point when I was getting irritated with this place. My repairs were taking longer and costing more than we had initially discussed. I was losing my patience....
But then I picked up my car two days ago and I could not be happier. I told Jose that I wanted it to look like new and he took that seriously. It looks like I just drove it off the dealer's lot 13 years ago! He even detailed the interior and I didn't ask him to do that. The thing is immaculate. I went from being embarrassed that I let my Mustang get so run down to being damn proud of my car again.
