“I can’t say enough about the excellent customer service. I walked into the store on 5th Ave and was greeted by Janique who asked if she could help. I came prepared with warranty and broken part. Even before I took the part of the plastic bag, Janique had identified the vacuum it came from. Wow! She walked me to the back of the store and asked me to wait as she spoke to her manager, Jon. The next thing I knew she was coming toward me with the replacement part in hand…all this in 10 minutes!!!! I told Janique I would write a review on google. I walked into Ferguson’s Midtown showroom and asked to speak with a representative. By some fortunate coincidence, Janam was available. My husband and I were undertaking an extensive renovation of our Manhattan apartment and, without a designer, needed considerable guidance on plumbing fixtures, faucets, vanities, mirrors, and more. Janam was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process; our renovation lasted for over a year.
He is exceptionally bright, efficient, organized, knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely pleasant to work with. What makes him particularly stand out is his responsiveness and willingness to help. If something needed to be changed, he handled it promptly and without fuss. Even while on vacation several time zones away, he remained available and attentive to our needs.
Janam is meticulous, flexible, and remarkably adaptable. Although he is clearly a very busy salesperson, he never failed to return our calls – usually within minutes or hours, and always in less than 24 hours. He has all the qualities one could hope for in a salesperson: intelligence, integrity, organization, strong work ethic, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a sincere commitment to his clients.

“I have been going to Modern Propane in Lodi so far back that they were operating out of a shipping container! I had a Charmhlow CC1 for over 40 years and Modern supplied me with all the replacement parts that I needed… burners, grates, knobs and handles and valves. That was a top of the line grill but finally it died. I purchased a Broil King Monarch 390 floor model. I understand that it is a top of the line Canadian product and I couldn’t be happier with it and all of Modern Propanes employees over the years. Thanks”
