“It's been 22 years since I shopped at the Stop n Shop. They had what we wanted and what we needed, but the ONLY issue i have is the NO BAG... I know live in California, and whatever happens here happens in NJ and NY, respectively, in most regards. Come on. Bags, bags, bags”

“An awesome old school corner store in Hackensack that gives a little piece of Italy. Very welcoming and buffet for 20 is outstanding. The food was awesome, I had two meatballs, Salad and two big bowls of an awesome pasta e Fagioli. Store is nostalgic. Next time I'm home going back”

“Good! Operates like a European supermarket, and it was built from scratch so it’s clean and well-organized. It’s in the parking lot of a nice apartment complex, so hopefully it stays that way.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This ShopRite in Hackensack is one of the most convenient and reliable grocery stores in Bergen County. Located right on River Street, it’s easy to get in and out, and there’s plenty of parking which makes a huge difference for quick or big shopping trips.

The store is consistently stocked with fresh produce, quality meats, and a wide variety of everyday essentials. The bakery and deli are always a highlight—everything looks fresh and tastes great, whether you’re grabbing something quick or planning a full meal.

What really stands out is how organized and efficient everything is. Even during busy times, the layout makes it easy to find what you need without feeling overwhelmed. The staff is helpful, keeps things moving, and works hard to maintain a clean shopping environment.

If you’re in Hackensack or nearby, this is definitely a go-to spot for groceries—reliable, well-stocked, and always a smooth shopping experience. 5 stars all the way!”

“I am going to give this place 4 stars for the pandemic. No, the customer service is not their strength and "C" probably stands for crack, however this store has remained well stocked where other big brand stores have consistently been out-of stock. Always found toilet paper, cleaning supplies, flour and basic vegetables during the pandemic. They have also remained open despite damage to the building from a storm.”
