“Maybe I'm just a recluse but I thought the idea of a bank who cares about the community and its members was dead. It's 2026 quite honestly and I don't even blame banks for become cold and calculating, there's just too many people and the world is just a much uglier place than it was 40 years ago. That being said, this bank has 2 bankers that make my family feel like family. Cleon and John. Today was the first day I met them, but they knew a ton about me. My wife has been going there and they actually remembered the details she had told them about me. They greeted my youngest son warmly and obviously had developed a real warm kind relationship with him. My son was completely relaxed and comfortable talking to Cleon and he is usually a bit standoffish with people who aren't our close family and friends. I'm sure Wells Fargo as a bank is a bunch of numbers but the people who work at this branch reminded me of a time 40 years ago when a banker went out of his way to save my dad's business. He cared. He went and kept pounding the pavement because my dad had a deadline or he would lose his business, and he got it done. I remember that banker to this day and the feeling of care I felt from him. Today I was reminded that though we live in a world that is cold and calculating and many interactions have been optimized by prompts and studies, there are still real people who take time to make you feel like you're a part of a community. I can't guarantee everyone has my family's experience but I thought I'd share. If anyone from Wells Fargo corporate is reading this... Cleon and John really impressed me today and I look forward to doing a lot more business with Well Fargo going forward due to their kindness.”
