“Very pleasant experience here in the middle of the current pandemic. Needed to pull a bunch of money from an IRA into short term liquidation. The staff couldn't have been anymore congenial or helpful. I'll be moving to Livingston shortly and am planning to pull literally everything out of their piss poor TD location and placing it here. Parking won't be as plentiful but it's worth it to have a staff that actually knows what the hell they're doing.”

“I wanted to thank Frank who helped open an account for my 16 year old son and recommended Pops for breakfast which is down the street and is a great place to eat.I live in Budd Lake and went to 3 banks there to open an account. They all seem to have layed off so many people that you have to make an appointment to open an account.I have been banking with Provident for 30 years and have never had a problem and the people have always been helpful. I moved and the bank is a bit far away, but I am loyal to people who help me and it has been worth the drive. I thought I'd try a bank closer to home for my son, but they really did not seem interested enough to provide the service that they used too. Provident still does.Frank spent at least a half an hour with us opening the account. I really appreciate his attention. It is what I am used to with Provident.I do most of my stuff online, but it is nice to be able to go into the bank and talk to someone instead of dealing with an AI auto attendant that you normally get when you need to call. I guess that is the benefit of going with a community bank versus a large chain bank - to them you are no one. But when I walk through the door at Provident on Smith Rd in Parsippany, I know everyone. They are all so friendly, especially Robert & Justin. “I've been going to this bank for almost a year now, the staff are the best. Especially Karin and Mike. But their "manager" Nancy seems to be useless. She is either sitting in her office or she'll come out when there is a line, but don't be deceived.. it's not to help with the line it's to question why people aren't there helping customers, only to then receed back into her office. I've literally never seen her help a customer, let alone regard her staff in a kind manner, and I've been in there probably over 30 times. She's one of those "management people" who don't seem to contribute and just cause stress for the staff. The only reason I'm giving 5 stars is because the staff are otherwise stellar in all aspects. Nancy is just awful.”

“The people here are literally the nicest people I've ever dealt with in any business. I started a landscaping business and walked in here strictly because my biggest account used them. I had no idea how to set up a business on the banking side of things. Stephanie (who I believe is the boss) put together everything for me and even took the extra steps to get my trade names taking care of with the county. All I had to do is go to the county clerk and get a signature. She basically set up my business legally. Another girl Sarah set up all my personal accounts and she was also amazing to work with. Neither of them tried to sell me anything either. I will be using them for everything from now on. I highly recommend if you are looking for a welcoming bank.”
