“Enter as Strangers…Leave as Friends is the sign posted in the Neptune Market. My husband, son and I walked in 17 years ago as Strangers but as we leave the island every year after our traditional “Last Supper” we feel like family. The market continues to offer high quality produce, meat, snacks and appetizing but you must make it a point to sit down at the counter for breakfast (pork roll, egg, and cheese) lunch (the Nooney Burger is THE BEST BURGER on the island) or dinner where Joe and the team will honor any request. Joe, Amy and the entire crew serve magical food with a smile and always make you feel special. Yes during rush hours at the height of the season it can be crowded but there’s a reason for the crowd and/or the wait…it’s worth it.”

“this was such a great find! we picked up sandwiches before the beach and they were all phenomenal. i got the smokin hot turkey panini, which was perfect, and the rest of the group got subs they loved. boars head turkey is a must for me and that's what they use, and there's a cute little shop with novelty sauces etc. to browse while you wait. 10/10 recommend; great value, great service, and great options!”

“You get what you pay for. One cashier with a line of customers but she kept her cool. A leak in the ceiling on arrival, stopped in for a Mac & cheese cup and Vienna fingers for a fussy child, they had it, reasonable price, mission accomplished!”

“Clean, wide aisles, great prices, a lot of quality off-brand food. I have never seen a cashier scan product that fast. I have Asperger's and the uncrowded, low key environment was perfect for me. Their meat prices were greeat and they had pistachios of better quality and at a lower price. I will not go back to Shoprite if I can help it.”

“Hello, I worked as a cashier here this summer. There is a great team. Everyone is very nice and very friendly. I recommend this place to everyone. You can find whatever you are looking for at LBI.”

“My affection for this food store is growing. It reminds me of a European style food store with small scale, off-brand packaging, and no-frills displays of products in the shipping boxes, Fresh fruits/vegetable/protein quality appearance foods, abundant organic and mainstream typical carb choices found at larger food chains. The non-food aisle always temps me to pick up a pretty candle or home accent. Pricing seems lower than my quick stops for Walmart and Target food runs, definitely less than Shoprite or Stop N Shop.”

“The Jersey Corn we got from here was very good and we definitely will come back. Doesnt hurt that the fish market across the alley is excellent and Fresh Off The Hook is a great place to get some seafood.”

“I love Dollar General however last night I went in mainly for milk and butter but the shelves were bare where it would normally be. They had half and half but no milk or butter. I also noticed another customer looking for something similar and walked out with nothing.”

“I love LBI Oil and Vinegar! Their selection is amazing and they also have lots of sauces, salts and stuffed olives! The staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable and they offer a free bottle of oil when you come back for a second purchase! Go check them out!”

“I come from a Colombian family but I would say they have a good selection of essential ingredients like cilantro, onion, tomato, garlic and such and rich Oaxaca cheese to nopales. There one can find the typical Mexican condiments. I have tried the tacos and they come with 4 to the order and they were scrumptious with very good house made salsa. I would like to try the chicken tinga quesadillas next time.”

“One stop shop! Well, was a one stop shop until the food court was taken out .... my family and I would do our shopping and then have lunch. My girls enjoyed the drinks on our shopping trip and it kept them quiet.....what about a small food stand? Either way we will still shop here, I like how they have the basket of coupons out for everyone! Staff are very nice!”

“It's always great shopping at the Manahawkin Walmart! The Walmart in Little Egg Harbor is WAY better than the Walmart in Manahawkin, but it's still a good place to shop once your learn what is and what isn't available. The level of competence and friendliness of Walmart Manahawkin cashiers varies greatly. Some are friendly and pleasant, while others are impatient and rude. But overall, Manahawkin Walmart is a Walmart, thus always a familiar and good place to shop. And here's a little secret; Walmart is a great place to buy your Sping flowers. ? Sometimes there is a serious shortage of staffed check-out lanes, forcing people with carts full of product into the crazy self checkout area. Also, you never know what's going to be available or out of stock. Shortages are unpredictable. This Walmart has no produce or deli. I love the jumbo eggs.”

“I'm very happy with shoprite in waretown . Your employees are very nice and helpful all the time and go out of their way to help me and they have better prices teh Acme in barnegat.”

“I love the changes made in the store! seems to be cleaner, food is fresher, & most of the time, if it's busy, I still seem to be & out, without too much of a wait! for the most part, the staff is friendly, efficient, & helpful!”

“A nice supermarket with a wide variety of items. As someone who doesn't eat beef or pork and who eats chicken every day, I find this ShopRite's pre cooked chickens to be woefully and consistently undercooked. As of early 2022 this store is under new ownership. New, brighly illuminated shelving, creates what feel like more narrow, more claustrophobic aisles, but this definitely gives the displayed product a more modern look. I have heard it said "Light sells." The in-store cooked fried chicken pieces sold in plastic containers under a heat lamp are greasy as Hell but really good. A far better value than Beach Haven West chicken place Robbie's Chicken Shack. A good option for reasonably priced fresh seafood.”
