VCA Ho-Ho-Kus Animal Hospital
22 Sycamore Avenue, Ho-Ho-KusWe always use VCA for our dogs. Just last week we laid to rest our 16.5 yo girl. The Dr and staff are incredibly attentive and compassionate. Sadly, we put 2 of our old girls down there and we highly recommend them. Caring, full communication and lovely to deal with under good and sad circumstances.

Tojo Restaurant
5 North Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-KusIf you’re in the mood for hearty, delicious ramen, this is definitely the place to try!
With the weather getting cooler, we were craving some warm, comforting food, and this spot did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by two amazing ladies—one behind the counter and one serving the tables. They were both incredibly sweet, welcoming, and made our meal feel extra special.
We tried a few different things. The Chicken Bao was delicious, with moist fried chicken and a flavorful mayo sauce. We also had the Ramen, which was warm, hearty, and exactly what we were craving.
We also ordered a Bento Box, which came with two onigiri. I chose the Tuna and Salmon, and both were incredibly fresh and delicious.
If you’re looking for something simple, hearty, comforting, and satisfying, definitely give this place a try. We had such a great time and really enjoyed our meal. I’m sure you will too! ❤

We Knead the Dough
622 North Maple Avenue, Ho-Ho-KusI can not say enough good words about the cake we received for my son’s birthday. From consultation to cake pickup, the process was seamless and the final product was a work of art. Not only that, I was last minute in my request and they accommodated me 3 days before my son’s birthday. The cake was just perfect for our “Nightmare Be-Four Christmas” 4th birthday celebration. We showed them some ideas and they took it to the next level. We will definitely be using this bakery for our future birthday celebrations! They are a local gem!
