“I came in this morning needing a way to hang my large print.John at Jack's Art Gallery was so kind. He took a look and installed some brackets immediately to the back of my print free of charge. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL. I cannot recommend them enough!!”
“Handled our delicate art with care and professionalism. We’ve tried other framers in NYC, none offered this level of straightforward and attentive service; just show up and they’ll guide you through everything. The brothers who operate this store, Shadin and Shima, are the real deal.”
“An incredible institution for learning and practicing the glass arts! The facilities are modern + well-kept and the staff are all fantastic with decades of combined experience. I've taken numerous classes and come here to work on my own time as well.”
“I stumbled upon this cute place while exploring the city. I had never heard of a zine before but was in awe when I walked in. It’s easy to forget about time and get lost in all the zines and books. The staff is really kind and passionate about the arts. Savannah really took her time to show me what Zines are all about. I was really inspired by her. I can’t wait to come back in the fall when I’m in the city.”
“Fahim is simply the best! I'm so happy he's still in the neighborhood after the building he was in sold last year. Just a few blocks up on 1st and 89th! Reasonable prices and great work! Thanks so much Fahim!”
“Not the kind of place that screams for attention—but the kind you remember.
5 floors, 3 open to visitors, and every corner feels like a quiet conversation between you and the art.
If you’re in Chelsea, stop by. It might just become your favorite hidden moment of the day.”
“Our experience with Anthony at Estate Silver was truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, his warmth, professionalism, and unparalleled knowledge of fine silver immediately stood out. The selection he curates is nothing short of extraordinary, every piece more stunning than the next. We have been collecting for many years and have visited countless dealers around the world, but Anthony’s expertise and eye for quality are in a class of their own.
He guided us effortlessly through the process, helping us choose exactly what we needed with honesty, patience, and a deep understanding of both design and craftsmanship. His pricing is incredibly fair, especially given the caliber of the pieces he offers, and the level of personal attention he provides is unmatched.
Simply put, Estate Silver is on an entirely different level and Anthony is the only person we will ever buy from again. His knowledge, taste, and integrity make every visit a pleasure. We cannot recommend him highly enough.”
“Their ability to choose the perfect frame to match your art or picture is unparalleled. Such a great eye and really helps to take the beauty of the piece up a notch!!”
“David and Richard run a great gallery! The work they show is of the highest quality and they are not afraid to take a chance on a potentially great emerging artist while showcasing more acclaimed artists. They are two of the hardest working people in the business who work tirelessly and ethically to get great work into the world and keep artists doing what they do best: creating.”
“Great work! I framed 2 pieces here and the person at the shop was so helpful with picking the frame and choosing the correct backing. Good framing really showcases the art and it’s important! Thanks!? I will be coming back here”
“I stopped by and was impressed by how unique and engaging each piece was. It's not often you find a place that leaves you feeling inspired in such a genuine way.”
“Susan and Ed are THE best. We had a very special project: @MSCHF “King Solomon’s Baby”
It is a very rare 1-of-1 mid-section of their 2025 experience. It is massive and very delicate. Susan and Ed consulted my wife and I on the perfect frame and setting. The patience for them to complete this difficult project paid-off handsomely. Not only was it perfect, but it was also delivered with care.
There’s no words I can say that encapsulates the gratitude I have for this super team. But hope this review helps convince you to work with them for your frame. You will certainly be happy.”
“I've been visiting this gallery since my friend Kool Koor's exhibition, and each time I'm impressed by the intriguing selection of artists, spanning both past and present. The curations are exceptional, and it feels like a museum experience right in the heart of the Lower East Side. I highly recommend!”

“had the opportunity to visit the Gagosian art gallery on 24th Street in Chelsea during Spencer Sweeney’s exhibition, The Painted Bride. The gallery’s spacious and striking layout really stood out, and I found the paintings in this show particularly impressive. It was definitely an interesting experience.”
“Absolutely wonderful store! We were looking for some clothes for our one year olds picture day and couldn’t have been happier to find Gumbo. Great selection and amazing people to help us. My son was looking adorable in such a sweet sweater from here on his picture day.”
“Don’t hesitate to get your pictures framed here. Wonderful business and very warm and friendly owner. Incredibly reasonable prices! I had another quote that was wildly expensive and so glad a friend recommended Amsterdam Gallery. They also deliver your framed artwork. I can’t wait to receive it in a week!”
“Tommy is the absolute best! He's so friendly and knowledgable -- a true professional. With framing, the options often feel limitless, but he helped me narrow down exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier with the results. I look forward to coming back for many years to come. Thank you, Tommy!!”
“It was a great experience to be part of a group exhibition in which I took one of my photographs and I also talked about what inspired me to create it, I met authentic people and artists with their work as well, it was a great night of sharing and getting to know this gallery.”
“I have purchased digital scans twice from them. Each time the transaction was prompt and smooth. Any hitch, and Kevin is only too ready to help. I am fully satisfied with their service.

“This is one of those hidden gems in NYC you could easily pass up, staring at your smartphone while walking down the street. But if you pause long enough to discover it, and venture inside, you'll find an amazing body of photographic work. And, if you're smart, buy a print.”

Another amazing Art hub in Manhattan I’m delighted by is Hannah Traore Gallery which features a melting pot of diversely diverse art & artists! A perfect match for the big Apple. The owner is also a delight & amazing at curating insightful & thought provoking artistic experiences. Can’t wait to view their newest exhibit!”
“SUPER CUTE! The shopkeeper was lovely, the space is super well curated and decorate. Beautiful pieces, perfect for gifts! Super queer, fun, colourful and thoughtful ?”
“Candido and his team run a local family operated business providing customers with fair prices, museum quality work, and reasonable timelines.Finding a spot that cares for your art, provides honest feedback through the framing process, and is communicative about timelines is essential. I remember initially calling 3-5 framing locations in Manhattan before finding JMC framing. With his 34 years of expertise in the framing industry, Candido has earned my trust to frame and mount 10 art pieces that I’ve gathered across my travels. He is well versed in art preservation, mounting, and design. Moreover, he will answer any questions you have around his framing process. He can be reached over the phone and will work with you 1:1 to ensure your art gets the time and quality frame it deserves.High praise for this man’s dedication and ability to create memories that will last a lifetime. As a bonus he offers customers paying with Cash an incentive!Would recommend to anyone looking to preserve their art for an affordable and quality frame.”
“This bookstore found me. And every since then it’s been calling me back. I walked in and was met with the smell of the alphabet and maps from every country in the world. I was allowed to peruse the first floor without being pressured and that felt good because walking in can be intimidating.Everyone there was helpful and I was directed to the second floor by means of a turn of the century elevator. Maps on this floor were organized smartly and you must ask for assistance before taking them off the shelf.I would encourage you to check out their website so you have an idea of what you are looking for before arriving. They also have volumes online that may not be in store at the current time but they have access to from their warehouse.”

“I went to see Broken Box Mime, and I was blown away. I have never seen such a fun show. The seats had extra leg room for when you had to lean over from the laughter.”
“This has become one of my favorite hidden boutiques in Brooklyn. I always want something I know I won’t see elsewhere. If you see it just buy it because it may not be available upon the next visit.”
“Not only is the interior amazingly beautiful with dark wood paneling along the walls, but the employees are polite, efficient and hard working. They have a great bar with great cider as well.”
“Great experience at Right Angle Picture Framing. I had a two historic photos that needed high quality framing. The team there took incredible care and were able to guide me in the best matting, frame, and glass options. The photos were somewhat delicate, but the staff were did a great job to ensure that they went through the process perfectly. And the final product truly looks amazing. I highly recommend them!”
