“Fun little store with home baked goods, staple items and deli ( they'll make you a sandwich to order.) Deli prices were good, frozen meats were on the high side.”
“Jaison is courteous, respectful and answers questions without holding the line up. The only time there is a problem is when the customer is not ready. Usually the wrong information. He’s fast which keeps the line moving. My favorite post office by far.”
“I don’t live in Essex Fells but I make sure to use their post office because the women who work there are patient, kind, polite, and professional. You’d never know if they were having a bad day because they welcome you with a warm hello and a smile. You ask a question and they don’t roll their eyes or make you feel like an idiot, unlike the people who work the counter at Caldwell and West Caldwell post offices. Recently I had the misfortune of having to go to the Caldwell post office. I was quickly reminded why I avoid that location. Keep up the good work EF!”

“Even though it's often busy, the young ladies in the front are always courteous and apologize for the wait/ensure those of us waiting in line that they will be right with us (and they are). They're organized, efficient, and great at what they do...and so the line moves quickly.
They are also patient when customers need help/have questions.
And one of the young ladies up front is VERY funny! She was clever/witty and engaging with customers in a way that made me laugh several times while waiting.”

“I came in for My son's (who has ASD) New Passport with Photo Services. Both the ladies at the desk were very helpful. They were very patient taking the picture for my Son who has stimming a lot. I even forgot to sign the form and got a call back immediately from them. Went back in and signed it. I had lot of anxiety going in with my son and the whole process just took 5 to 10 minutes.”
“Excellent customer service! I’m embarrassed with myself that I was ready to blame the USPS for a package that was said to be out for delivery but never showed up. When I called customer service I realized it was all my fault because I had put in a wrong address when I placed the order with the company that was sending me their product. What amazed me the most is I read some of these reviews and was thinking when I had to go in face to face I was going to be met with ppl with a bad attitude, instead I got someone who went above and beyond. She was great. I should have gotten her name. She even followed up like she said she would the following day.Even when I had to be redirected to the Manor rd. location the supervisor there was awesome! I picked up my package hassle free. The customer care over the phone was awesome as well. When I mean top notched customer service. I’m still surprised. I was ready to praise FedEx and UPS over them but they’re just as great. Very trustworthy too. If they were ever bad they must have improved because I didn’t see anything negative. Don’t sleep on the United States Postal Service at all.”
“I recently moved to NA and my letter carrier is the most pleasant man; even welcomed me to the neighborhood. I've never had an issue at the post office. The cashier (young man) is nice and quick. Whether I use the counter, the drop box inside the store or the mailbox right outside, everything is delivered without issue. The majority of the low rated reviews are made by entitled people living in NA that are older and miserable. I've seen the entitled behavior first hand. NA is a small town with a tiny post office that is doing their best being surrounded by larger and busier towns in the metropolitan area.”
