Grocery Stores
“I purchased the roti for my thanks giving party and slit was not testing good, some weird kind of test I never tested before. It’s not even fresh and look stale.
Update:- I went back to the shop and owner listen to the issue and refunded my amount and also provided me fresh roti to try out & it test good, there was some issue with the packaging, which has happened by mistake, really appreciate the customer service.”
“Nice busy but the store space is too small compared to the quo tum of business, people get into accident with each other. Otherwise quality wise everything is good.”
“Went towards Edison and, while coming back home, grabbed some groceries. Went to patel, which was a huge store filled with fresh vegetables. You get everything an Indian household requires. They have some fresh mangoes available. Prices were little above than usual.”
“An awesome place to buy indian groceries. All kinda frozen food from indian and pakistan. I love the chips packets, a big one costs only 1.49 $. The same goes for 5.99$ here in walmart or shoprite. Nice staff, very economic prices for food items.”
“We discovered Maharaja store during pandemic induced lockdown while searching for an Indian grocery store that has home delivery. It was recommended by a friend, and it certainly did not disappoint. You can order authentic Kerala groceries and snacks online and have it delivered to your home for free although I highly suggest adding tips for the service. For any questions, Sarin makes himself available on his cell phone and promptly asks for feedback regarding individual items, especially when something is newly introduced. The ripe plantains are the best that I have found in NJ (makes the best plantain fritters called "pazham pori" in Kerala - the equivalent of the Spanish platanos maduros), but it's hard to get as it gets sold out soon. I cannot recommend Maharaja store enough. Must try !”
