Sonesta Simply Suites Jersey City is a very good and economical option for a trip to New York, offering great location and well-priced rooms. It is situated in a very quiet neighborhood that feels safe, even when walking late at night. The hotel provides a private parking lot and is within a quick five to ten minute walk to the PATH station at Exchange Place, connecting directly to the World Trade Center and New York City subways, with a skyline view of Manhattan just minutes away. Rooms are large, spacious, and nicely updated, featuring full kitchens or kitchenettes equipped with the most necessary items. They are generally clean with comfortable beds, new linens, and towels. Some guests note the bathrooms could be updated, as they still have a tub and shower curtain. A room facing the front of the building can be quiet, though noise from the refrigerator or the area may occasionally be noticed. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a recommended hotel, seen as a home away from home, and many guests would stay here again. It is a great location for accessing everything NYC and Jersey has to offer.
Stayed here because we were having a birthday party in the water. The rooms are spacious and clean comfortable pillows and a good nights rest after partying all night. Then wake up and take a walk along the skyline grab a coffee and enjoy the view.
