“The owners were wonderful! They offered great service and even provided samples for me. Food tastes fresh and healthy. Didn’t take long for the food. This place will definitely be my go to when I need something tasty and fast.”
“What a nice gourmet shop this is we were just passing by and had to go in. This is top level gourmet items with a huge selection of smoked fishes. Yes I am vegan but one of the many things I do miss eating is smoked salmon or a bagel toasted with lettuce, tomato, onions, and green peppers. That’s something I would eat once a week forever and as a kid I worked in delis and they have something that I haven’t had in years and I had to get some and that was Halava The nice lady in the store gave us a few samples to taste you’ll see in the pictures. It brought back such memories. We ended up grabbing a gourmet tub of pistachio halava later on evening we shared a few servings and wow it was so delicious. The pistachios on the inside were nice and crispy and the taste just brought back so many memories not easy to find things like this sometimes so now I know where to go.”
“Trader Joe's a little busy, but it’s worth the trip. They offer a wide variety of products, including plenty of fruits, fresh flowers and there’s always something new or interesting to buy. The associates are helpful, and the deals on merchandise are great. Overall, a solid place to shop if you don’t mind a bit of a crowd!”
“Always a pleasure shopping here, even though it's always crowded! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the lines move really fast, they have lots of people on registers. I went for the black sesame mochi, which was sold out (insert sad face) so got the green tea instead- also yum!”
“I don’t know if people don’t realize this crazy pricing going on here. I don’t understand why people go to the other 3 Turkish stores near by when the prices are on most items almost half price.
And they all get it from the same place. Not coming to Qualita is basically loosing my family money.
Thank you guys”

“Matt and Mike’s Italian Market is the best place in South Philly! I love their Italian Specialty Hoagies on Sarcone’s Bread! I’ve been coming here since I was a child, picking up groceries with my grandmother. Now, I take my child there. My grandmother, Cathy, has been a loyal customer since the beginning. Matt and Mike have grown as a family and witnessed generations grow.
I see some reviews on here about “scams” or people’s “card number” being used, but these guys are real honest and solid people. I’ve never had any type of transaction fraud my whole life of knowing them. These are some good men who work hard to provide for their families. I highly recommend Matt & Mike’s Italian Market!!”
“Love this place! Friendly customer service! They make my customized breakfast sandwich anytime I call or walk in. Super clean and such a wide variety of merchandise.”
“First time trying this place. I got a corned beef special. It was the thinnest corned beef special that I've ever had. The bread was a bit stiff. Wasn't sure if it was getting stale, lightly toasted( seriously doubt that) or didn't use soft rye. Overall it was a good sandwich.
My daughter got a chicken club which she enjoyed. The coup de gras
was finding Pennsylvania Dutch Birch Beer! IN A BOTTLE and Ice Cold!”
“Great service and selection. I go to Claudio's for the flavored pastas especially the lemon pasta and the multi colored fafalle. I made pasta salad with them.”
“This family-owned spot is a must-visit, especially for Temple students. It’s conveniently located and absolutely incredible. The food is top-notch, and their cheesesteak? Pure perfection, rich, creamy, and downright irresistible. The staff is warm and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Plus, it’s completely safe and hassle-free to use EBT here.”
“Came in for a quick sandwich and some drinks. The lady working the front was so kind, so was the gentlemen working the deli. I was reminded why I miss living in Philadelphia.”
“Palladino’s Market is more than a place to eat — it’s a place that reminds you what community, care, and heart are supposed to feel like. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the love behind it. The food is consistently outstanding — fresh, comforting, and made the right way, every single time.
Nick and Niccole are truly the soul of Palladino’s Market. The amount of heart, hard work, and sacrifice they pour into this place is something you don’t see often anymore. They don’t just run a market — they build relationships. They remember people, they care deeply, and they treat everyone who walks through the door like family. Palladino’s is a reflection of who they are: genuine, kind, hardworking, and full of heart.
My favorite is the Italian — easily one of the best sandwiches you’ll ever have — but what keeps people coming back is the feeling this place gives you. Palladino’s Market has become part of the community, part of people’s routines, and part of their lives. Thank you, Nick and Niccole, for what you do every day. Places like this are rare, and we’re incredibly lucky to have you.”
“Good variety of olives, pickles, cheeses and many more. Fresh and delicious baklava. Very clean and bright store. On top of everything very friendly and accommodating owner. Will be coming again.”
“Imagine that your ‘world famous’ recipe calls for fresh fruits and / or vegetables. Head over to Lew’s Farm Market for fresh tomatoes and peppers.
How about those rare instances when your garden is light on this season’s flowers and / or plants? Check out the selection that Lew’s has to offer.
I visited Lew’s Farm Market to buy a bag of cherries. The next thing I knew, I bought cherries, plums, peppers, blueberries, and all.
The staff was courteous, professional, and resourceful. There is some room for improvement.
If you simply want to pick up a few items (while sticking to your busy schedule), visit Lew’s Farm Market.”
“Tasty kimbap. Stopped by for bananas for philly marathon and got some kimbap too. Very tasty. Hit the spot. It's a veggie market with looks like homemade korean foods.”
“How can one not like Trader Joe's....the staff, the food, the artsy logos and symbols, the 80s and 90s California chill vibe..but in a hurry at times.....otherwise....if you have not been to any Trader Joe's....it is never too late.....the food selection is amazing.....farmers market sourced with local and USA based as well as....yes...imported food.....a must experience.....and lots of...Food....for all occasions.....again a go-to Gourmet like grocery...and endless delicious snacks.....”
“This is such a great place with kind employees. Besides selling pretty much everything you need in your household, they just seem to care about their neighbors. Have stopped by so many times, always made me feel welcome. Being respectful to others doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you.”

“ALDI is my go-to supermarket. Their prices can't be beat. While you can't find EVERYTHING that you want there, you can get all your essentials and more for a fraction of the price. Their produce is sold in bulk (you can't buy a single lemon) but it's decent quality and you get a lot for the price. They also have a huge selection of nice cheese which is always handy for a party.”
“I like all day because you can get the lower prices there that you can't get at the other stores ShopRite is the most expensive store around I would not go there”
“Contracted with Haddonfield Culinary to cater a baby shower at my home with a theme of a “Ladies Tea”. Michael, Arthur, and Joe were excellent to work with to design an absolutely perfect menu for the event. The food presentation was fabulous and everything tasted Excellent! Thank you so much!”
“I’ve been a customer here for 10 years. It’s a family-owned business, and the owners are fantastic—always providing top-notch customer service. Although I’m disappointed they no longer serve hot food, I understand that their business needs have changed. I always buy Grape Arizona here, and the owner has made sure it’s always available. I highly recommend supporting this local shop.”
“Very good mechanic who is ASE certified but yet chooses to charge better then the any repair facility. I have been going here for years, I recently recommended my sister to fix her tail light because Toyota was charging almost 200 dollars to fix and had a 2 week waiting period to book. I drove her car to his shop, he popped the tail light out and replaced the bulb within 5 mins. He used the same bulb as Toyota would install and only charged 30 bucks. Five star all around and if your curious about the 1 star feed back he was given from another customer. If you look in her comment history she mostly gives negative ratings.”
“This shop is perfect for travelers looking to get some quality whole foods and good service. Small interior but packed shelves with good options, especially for nutrient forward foods and fresh produce.
Familiar brands and local fare like fresh baked bread and desserts.”
“I stopped in to buy some things but they were crowded and they were out of stock on a lot of items. But I guess it would be expected because of the storm that was coming.”

“Aldi in Woodbury is a great store to shop . However I was looking for a certain item and it wasn't in store. The Carmel wafers are in store around Thanksgiving, maybe its not available this year . I still give the store 10 out of 10 points ?”
“The thing i love most about this place are the authentic greek products that I thought were not available in the area. I was so pleasantly proved wrong. Owners are sweet, the store is clean and I justlove that I can get the items I'm craving so close to home.”
“Moms stores are great for bulk and hard to find organic and clean selections. This one is ok, not as clean and friendly and nice as the one in Abington PA where I shop also. Also seems to be more turnover in staff or something.”
“I ate a meatball hoagie from here in like 2011 that I still think about. I have never before or since found one that slapped that hard - could not believe those out-of-the-warming-pot meatballs and fresh sliced prov could make that magic but it did. Also tried my friend’s sandwich which was the Italian (as advertised, a true classic - hard to find them like that anywhere but the old delis now) but I was so lost in the sauce of the meatballs that it didn’t matter. Also, the guy behind the counter? So helpful, so kind, so clearly proud of the place and the product.”
“Great store with so many choices to choose from. They have prepared foods as well as raw fruits & vegetables from local farms. One of my favorite grocery stores to shop at.”
