“I had a wonderful experience at Stony Brook Sew & Vac. I went there looking for some information on a sewing & embroidery machine. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Amber who was very friendly, she listened to what I was looking for and directed me to Kara Engelmam. I explained to Kara what I was looking for and my price range, and she said she can work with me. She explained the difference in the price and function of each machine. I walk out happy with the machine I was looking for. I will definitely be signing up for their sewing classes. ?”

“Datacolor is a color matching software, machine, and equipment company. They specialize in colors, of course. I was here for their training course for our new Datacolor equipment. The course and Datacolor were a pleasure to deal with. The instructor was very knowledgeable, nice, and made sure each visitor understood the software, logic, and information he presented. The lunches and snacks were superb and fell right in line with their hospitality. If you're looking to branch into color matching, Datacolor is your company.”

“Went there to get a belt for our washer. I walk in the store and the lady was so rude. She rolled her eyes at me because I was interrupted her reading. I said excuse me but, I thought you were here to work. Well, finally she got me the belt for the washer, it turned out to be the wrong one. And when I took it back I got the same attitude and I forgot my receipt and didn't she make me go all the way back to Philly. Needless to say I won't be going back there again. There's plenty of appliance stores that I could go to. Well since my last review I went back with the wrong receipt and they were nice enough to take it for the price that was on it. So, I'm happy with them now.”
“Great store but I should let people know this information as it did affect me. If you sign-up for the Best Buy Membership, the cancellation works differently from most stores.If you cancel it, let's say on Month 3, even though you have 9 months left, Best Buy will cancel everything from the time of cancelation as they want you to keep it active for 1 year as there is a higher chance you will forget about the auto-renewal.Usually when you cancel something they either prorate it or will notify you on the time you have left based on your payment, but best buy operates in their own way and they mis-lead it when signing up.”

“Remember my parents taking me to Mrs. G when I was a little girl and it was located on the corner of Rt 1 and Franklin Corner Road. All of my kitchen appliances are from Mrs. G. Staff is friendly and super knowledgable. Had to get appliances during the pandemic and they guided us according to what was available but still a good price and quality. Love that this business was started by a woman and three generations later is run by her great granddaughter - Debbie. Wonderful business to the community. Great to support a local, family owned business!”
