“Heh-heh-heh! Hey there, pal! It’s me, Barney Rubble, and I just rolled my stone wheels over to this new place called Lidl in Hazlet! Fred told me it was like Bedrock’s version of a bazaar — only with fewer dinosaurs and way more fluorescent lights.
First thing I notice — no brontosaurus steaks. Not one! But they do got these things called “rotisserie chickens,” and boy, they smell so good I almost clubbed a guy in aisle five just to get the last one!
Everything’s shiny, cheap, and confusing — like if Mr. Slate opened a grocery mine. There’s signs everywhere with these weird prices like $3.29 — I keep thinkin’, “Just round it up, you cowards!” In Bedrock, we trade rocks for rocks. None of this decimal nonsense!
Then I see the bakery section — oh boy, Betty’s gonna kill me. I grabbed like six loaves of bread before realizing they’re all different kinds of carbs I can’t pronounce. “Ciabatta”? Sounds like a prehistoric bird! “Baguette”? Isn’t that what Wilma uses to poke Fred when he snores?
The cashiers, though — speedy! No yabba-dabba waitin’ in line. The girl scanned my stuff so fast, I thought she was powered by a tiny pterodactyl on espresso. I blinked and suddenly I owed her $72 and had three reusable bags I don’t remember buying.
Final thoughts? Lidl’s kinda like if a Bedrock quarry and a modern market had a baby — and that baby had great deals on cheese.

“Bae and I’s 1st time shopping here and we are in love. It’s clean, simple and such a breeze to walk through. Aisle are dense but efficient. Bae even said he’ll come shopping alone because it was just so easy to find everything. The salmon was my favorite part. Their salmon is such good quality, I purchased 12 just by the appearance, ingredients and how well it was packaged. I will definitely be shopping here again.”

“The local Red Bank FoodTown has a good variety of items. I use Food Town a few nights a week. It is a convenient location, and it is great to stop by on my commute home. They are a little pricy on some items. But, it is not their fault. The Deli staff is always a pleasure to deal with. The pre-made meals are good quality and reasonably priced.”

“I usually go to Wegmans and I will continue to go there :) this store is expensive and many things I can find in wegmans or local Italian grocery store near by for less price. But they have very good pizza ? (rectangular ones) I lived in Italy so it is not as there but good ?? also some products I cannot find in my stores from Europe which I like. The sweets did not impress me much far from what you have in Italian pasticceria and more for the USA customers. Lots of cheeses and good selections of meat and poultry!”

Fresh herbs are priced very well at this store and I love their frozen food selections for all variations of Gyoza just heat and enjoy. I've even purchased ground pork and made my own with their fresh dumpling wrappers easy and delicious.”

“This one is a particularly nice Sprouts store with friendly staff and very nice produce. Everything is well organized, clean, and easy to find. Sometimes there are some really great sale prices on some items. So I would recommend this place definitely to anyone (healthy/restricted diet, or not) to check out that food that is better for your health can actually be better for your wallet, sometimes, too. The choices and selections here are really great and admittedly it IS hard to walk out empty handed, if you happen to enjoy delicious food.”
