“This is a great store. I've been using it for about a year since I moved to this area. Staff are friendly. However, can the manager please tell the cashiers to remind everyone that each register has a line! Or perhaps you could put a sign? I used to go to the one in Union (which is much busier) but the cashiers always made announcements that each register had a line. Thank you.”
“The staff is friendly and helpful. I love their bakery department and their private label products. I hope they bring more German favorites in the future. They also have a rotation of hardware and home goods. Lidl markets have a small footprint but they carry a good selection of the basics at great prices.”

“I came here from Montclair and it was SUCH an amazing experience. The owner talked me through all the products, and helped me figure out what I wanted. I bought some cheese, crackers, and baked goods and they were all amazing. I can’t wait to come back!”

“I have been going to this farmers market for almost a decade now. You really can’t beat the good price. The selection depends on the seasons you’re in. There’s obviously a lot of more choices in the warmer weather. You would expect to buy lots of vegetables and seasonal fruits. They also carry some Asian items, such as bok choy, bean sprouts, and Korean yams.
They have a deli shop in the back, carrying only Black Bear Brand, store made salads and sausages. That’s the only meat they have in the market. I would always go for their jumbo eggs, Italian wafer cookies, and Fuji apples. While there are plenty of simple baked goods, they stock Panera Bread toasts and bagels.
They also have a selection of freshly arranged flowers.”

I was in the mood for some fresh oysters, called and was transferred to this fine, young gentleman by the name of Tevin. I asked him to prepare a dozen oysters and that I’d stop by to pick them up. He was extremely polite, kind and professional. Super nice guy and honestly he made my day!! His positive attitude and willingness to help without hesitation was refreshing and very much appreciated. We have been eating hot & sour soup here and there, far and close, but this is the best soup you can get! We would come to this ShopRite and buy only one thing, that's their soup from their food court! I can't say how good other cooked food is, but you must try this hot & sour soup! You will agree with me after you try it!”

“Update 2024 - MUCH BETTER!
Seems since changing to Green's they have all new workers -- FRIENDLY ONES! Great job on the upgrade. My husband and I shopped comfortably yesterday and were able to look around effortlessly. The store is small but if you go on an "off" day, you can find everything. They have Gopals seaweed snacks -- my favorites, frozen vegan bagels without sugar or gluten (all natural), and many other unique goodies you can't find elsewhere. Both the new manager and the cashier were VERY NICE. My only advice, to the workers, if someone is trying to look at something, please move, don't keep stocking -- that should be a no-brainer. Do not make the same dumb mistakes Whole Foods does. Always be polite.
From 2021 - Dean's Market is not COVID19 Conscious
It makes no sense why a grocery store would make it mandatory for customers to wear latex gloves (when some people are allergic), yet they do not have wipes to clean the carts, nor do the workers practice social distancing towards the customers. It's a scary place to shop and I don't feel comfortable shopping there. I was there today and Rachel and Heather were HORRIBLE towards me. Rachel got very close to me to scold me for not putting on the gloves yelling "THIS IS STORE POLICY" ... Well, let me ask you, what would happen if I DID put on the gloves and my hands swelled up -- who would pay for my hospital bill? DEAN? I don't think so! Rachel and Heather should both be ashamed of themselves. I will never go to this store again! I waled out without buying anything, after a 25 minute ride!”
“Good supermarket with reasonable prices. If you buy non-fat Greek yogurt in the 32 oz. tub, the Lucerne brand is the best. I believe it is the Acme house brand. That makes it the best of its class.”

Always have great experience here. However, I bought this strawberry jam today, 4/30, opened it （lid was properly sealed cuz I heard a pop when I twisted it open), and I saw mold.......expiration date on the jar is 10 Nov, 2026. Very disappointed.”
