“Dr.Hughes recently came out to see my horse Gambino when he was colicking, and she was so great. I was so grateful, since we are not clients of Colts Neck Equine but my usual vet was not available, and she still drove from over an hour away to come take care of my boy during an emergency. She did such a wonderful job helping us manage his impaction colic on the farm, coming back again later in the afternoon to give him more fluids when he needed it and checking in with us by phone over the next couple days. Thanks so much to Dr.Hughes and the Colts Neck Equine team!!!”
“Jan. 2026
Our 1st time at the Country Animal Hospital. We saw Dr. L. The Dr. Was very knowledgeable with a great bedside manor.
The place is very clean and the staff is efficient and pleasant.
They were on Time, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.
Parking is Plentiful, there is even a great Pizza/Restaurant next done in the same parking lot .
Lets talk money ?, I have driven past this place 100's of times. I always thought, this place must be expensive.
After trying so many vets, then found out they misrepresented them selves and who they represented.
It turns out that Country Animal Hospital,
On Texas Rd in Old Bridge, NJ was the most reasonable. Along with the animal along with their parents are aloud to go into the facility and actually speak to a human being face to face.
I strongly recommend Country Animal Hospital on Texas Rd in Old Bridge.”
“Dr. Cavalieri and the rest of the staff at Central Monmouth Animal Hospital have been nothing but professional, knowledgeable and compassionate at the hardest time in our dog's life. I brought my dog, Ruby, in at the start of January after she had become ill and Dr. Cavalieri helped every step of the way with figuring out what was going on with her. Dr. Cavalieri personally checked in numerous times between appointments over the past month and a half to see how Ruby was doing, brainstormed different ideas, and talked through things when we received our heartbreaking diagnosis. When it came time to say goodbye to Ruby, the euthanasia process was explained each step of the way to assure us that Ruby was not in pain at any point in time and gave us time to grieve. I cannot thank Dr. Cavalieri enough for everything that he had done throughout this time for Ruby and our family and will forever be grateful for the care and compassion that he provided. When the time comes to add a new puppy to our family, I will absolutely return to Central Monmouth Animal Hospital as I could not imagine going anywhere else. All testing, procedures, appointments, etc. was extremely reasonably priced and not in any way exuberant like other veterinarians charge.”
“They care for my dog Tucker and recently he had an ear infection, so we had to bring him back a few times to administer his medication in his ear, and they took us in immediate every time.”
“We’ve been using Raintree Veterinary Hospital since we moved to Freehold almost seven years ago and they have been absolutely wonderful every step of the way! When we recently had to say goodbye to our dog, Kala, they were nothing but supportive and compassionate, helping us through the process and making sure she was as comfortable as possible. We’re truly grateful for the care they gave our family during such a difficult time.”
“The Vet was extremely friendly. She answered all my questions and concerns. She took the time to listen. Although I have a snippy dog, the staff handled him with gentleness and kindness. I was recommended this Vet came recommended by a dear friend. Needless to say she was right about how friendly the staff is.”
“We brought our cat, Chloe there as she was having problems breathing and we found out she had congestive heart failure. The Dr. and staff were incredible and offered us the best care for her without forcing expensive procedures that were not going to prolong her life without suffering.
He answered all the questions we had and gave us alternatives when it came to procedures and medications.
I absolutely recommend this veterinary office for your beloved pets.”
“Dr. Cummings is a great Veterinarian for diagnosis, radiology and surgery. Can’t say enough other then he is also so very nice!

“Dr has helped several animals in my family. He is patient and doesn't push unnecessary tests... for areas he knows that should be handled by specialists..he advises so your time and money isn't wasted.... he is a good honest person.”
“My dog completely tore his CCL. The entire staff made the process and recovery as best as it could be. I highly recommend Howell Animal Hospital and would recommend them to dog owners with pets in need of surgeries.”
“I would highly recommend this place they love the animals my SASHA loves everyone there The people that work there are wonderful from the technicians to the Vets!!♡♡♡
Sadly my vet Dr. Katie Parker left and I now go back to Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital and use this vet as a backup. I was very disappointed no one ever told me.
I finally went back and was very happy with everyone at the front desk and with Dr V who I adored but now she hasn't been there for 3 or 4 months and the other vet just left and there's only one that left that doesn't even see you in person she just sees the dog and charges an arm and a leg so I'm very disappointed right now!”
“It's a very friendly and warm atmosphere! There was actually no plan for me to join the last appointment for my pet cat, as another family member tends to bring him, so I was very appreciative of the vet taking time out to speak to me. My cat has diabetes and seems to have some sort of gastric issues, and I was able to discuss these concerns while doing just routine blood work.
When a large dog needed to come out, one of the techs brought my cat out of sight so he wouldn't get scared, and also chatted with me. There are also pamphlets near the desk with information, including about pet insurance that they take. It was overall enjoyable.
The facility is also clean, with some seating, and both stairs and a ramp for access. Though the door is not automatic, it is also not heavy. I did not utilize the restroom, so no notes on accessibility of that at this time.”
“I’ve been bringing my kitten here for the last couple of months for her check-ups and vaccines. All the staff here are very polite and friendly and truly cares for these animals. Dr. Bach and the techs makes me feel at ease with any question I have. Highly recommend for any animal friend!”
“I’ve had nothing but great experiences with everyone at this vet office. The veterinarians and vet techs are consistently empathetic, caring, and incredibly kind to my animals, all of whom were understandably scared to be there.
We had multiple emergency situations, including a cat with kidney disease and a dog with Addison’s disease, and the team was truly exceptional in how they handled everything. They took the time to guide us through each situation, explain our options, and support us every step of the way, which made a stressful time much more manageable.
They are on the pricier side, but considering the level of care, compassion, and expertise they provide, it is absolutely worth it for the wellbeing of my furry loved ones. I’m very grateful for this team.”
“I can’t say enough amazing things about this office and about Dr. Connelly. From the moment you walk in, the entire place is spotless, professional, and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they truly care about both you and your pet.
Dr. Connelly is honestly one of the best vets I’ve ever met. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and always takes her time during each appointment. She never rushes, explains absolutely everything in detail so I fully understand what’s going on, and gives such helpful guidance. She also doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed and she breaks everything down in such a clear, calm way.
One of the things I appreciate most is how easy she is to reach, even via text. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing I can reach out if I’m worried or unsure about something with my cat, Boots. She always responds, always cares, and always goes above and beyond.
Finding a vet you trust is everything, and Dr. Connelly truly is exceptional. I’m so grateful for her and the whole team. Boots is in the best hands possible.”
“Truly loved this office! Everything about this hospital is awesome! The staff is very friendly and I'm glad I brought my GSD here. Dr. Slade was very informative and explained everything very clearly. Thank you! Finding a great vet is so hard nowadays especially when owning a GSD. Chase reacted so well to Dr. Slade... so thankful for that! We have found Chase's new vet.”
“Fantastic clinic amazing diagnostic affordably priced. I traveled from Connecticut with both of my horses for additional diagnostic testing and care. Dr. Smith and her staff were professional, caring, and extremely thorough. So satisfied with the care that I drove 5 hours one way and will drive back in a second!!!”

“Our Halo had a malignant tumor on her left shoulder which we confirmed by x-ray from our vet on Monday 10-21-19. The manipulation of the x-ray caused her horrific pain during the night and I was desperate to get her relief. Dr. Weinberg answered his phone at 5:30am and verbalized that we were not in his area. After I explained Halo's pain, he agreed to come and euthanized her at home. He was compassionate and got to work right away, explaining the entire procedure step by step. Halo is resting in peace and was at home surrounded by her family when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Thank You to Dr. Weinberg, we are forever grateful.”
“When we brought our pups home
We knew someday we would sadly need to say goodbye. Unfortunately, that time came sooner than we could’ve expected for my beautiful Harley girl. From the onset of symptoms to the day we said goodbye the doctors and all the staff were there to answer questions and lend guidance. Our calls were always returned, questions answered, and love for my girl given. We recently brought our boy in for a checkup and the comforting words from everyone meant more than they will ever know. I completley trust my babies in their care. We may not like to hear bad news but it’s taken better when it comes from someone who loves your pet as well. Thank you for being so wonderful during a difficult time”
