“We were a group of five. We had the calamari and cheesesteak eggrolls as appys. Both were outstanding. One in our party ordered the French onion soup. Also delicious! Our deserts were very good also. I would highly recommend the jelly donuts! All of our meals were incredibly good. The service was it excellent. Our server, Elle, went above and beyond, while being very friendly and informative about the menu items. Overall, a very memorable meal. Best restaurant we have been to in a long time. We will definitely be back!”

“We had our son’s first birthday party in the Club Room this past weekend, and it was absolutely wonderful! The room was decorated beautifully, the service was amazing, and the food was delicious. The staff was always available to help answer questions and get us anything we needed leading up to our party and the day of. “I honestly do not know where to begin. My husband and I recently got married at The Mill and we cannot find all the words to express how happy we are with our decision. We would choose The Mill over and over again. Both we and our families cannot recommend The Mill enough. From the very beginning and at our initial tour, the staff treated us with upmost respect and hospitality. We toured a total of four venues, but The Mill stuck out to us the most, making our decision one of the easiest.Susan, our wedding coordinator, was simply THE BEST! Susan was so accommodating and prompt with any replies to questions/requests we made. She went over the top with EVERYTHING and made sure all of our visions came to reality.My wedding day was MAGICAL! Although the weather was not the very best for an outdoor ceremony; The Mill accommodated us in every way. I cannot express how appreciative we are and delighted with our last-minute indoor setup. Our guests are still raving about the ceremony.We had a handful of guests who are handicapped. The layout of the venue was so handicap accessible. Everyone was a part of each aspect of wedding, no matter their disability, which was so important to us.The food was EXCEPTIONAL!!! Cocktail hour was incredible and the station options were so delicious we did not know which ones to choose. We are so happy with our choices. Although CH was full of greetings and photos, Julia, our bridal attendant went out of her way to make sure we got bites of each station and passed horderves. Vin and I were able to celebrate together, intimately, at the beginning of CH in the bridal suite with our signature drinks and so much food. Dinner was DELICIOUS! Every guest complimented the food, no matter what meal they selected.The reception room was so spacious!! Our guests sat comfortably at the tables and we were able to fit a Photo Booth, guest book table, cake table, and table to honor those who have passed. We had plenty of space to dance the night away. Guests were blown away from the entrances we all made with the automatic door entryway. The view of the lake is breath taking! No matter where you are on premises, there is so much beauty around you. Photos can be shot from anywhere!Tyler, our Matridee, was incredible. He ran the show so smoothly and was so attentive to our preferences and requests. He was hardworking and very dedicated.We love how our time at The Mill has not ended even after our wedding has passed. We are looking forward to all the fundraiser events and alumni events hosted.I can rave about The Mill until I am blue in the face. There is truly not a single thing I have to say negatively about The Mill. With that said, if you are looking for a one-stop shop and a highly accommodating and affordable venue, look no further. The Mill is it! We rate The Mill with 5 golden stars.”

“Attended a party here yesterday. Soooo many great games to choose from and plenty of machines from all decades. Bathrooms could surely have been kept up better. Overall it’s a nice place to step off the boardwalk into some cool air and have some fun !”

“I would like to gatekeep this place. I don’t want anyone else to know how peaceful it is. How nicely the gravel crunches under your feet in the garden. The way soft jazz music floats thru the property, or how good it smells. How close it is to a really lovely stretch of beach.I don’t want anyone else to know any of those things, because I want to be able to come back to this place and soak all of it up again and again.So don’t go. Or if you go, I hope you hate it. Unfortunately, I’m sure you won’t.”

“I don’t even know where to begin. My husband and I got married at jumping brook on Saturday 3/23/24, and I have no words other than perfection. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. And it poured rain all day long and it still was the perfect day. Diamond and Lady were absolutely perfect. Our drinks were never empty whatever we needed they took care of. Everything was on time and on schedule. I would have my reception there over and over again. We got so many compliments on the food and cocktail hour. It was all flawless! “Nothing more iconic than the Asbury Park Convention Hall at the boardwalk. Huge facility with shops and restaurants ringing the main hall. Have seen many a show and event here. Plenty of parking, lodging and things to do in the area. Highly recommend you visit if you have the opportunity. Why not make it a weekend.”

“We just had our 40th Class Reunion at the Waterview and had a fantastic night at this venue. Suzanne, the booking manager, was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. She was very accommodating and responsive. The main ballroom with the overlooking balcony was spacious and elegant. The passedhors d'oeuvres and buffet selections were all delicious. The pricing, scenic location and private parking are all perks that make this an ideal location to host events.”

“Wow! The staff aboard the River Queen exceeded my expectations. We had my daughter’s baby shower 10/1. It was the start yo God knows how many rainy windy days from hurricane Ian. I pulled up totally overwhelmed and ready to unload my car that had decor for the party in the rain and b4 I knew was greeted by Sharon. She immediately calmed my nerves & assisted in helping me bring the various boxes, decor in. She gave some great suggestions regarding decorating snd could not be more helpful. I knew from that moment on we were going to have the Best baby shower rain or shine and we did. I was also greeted by the captain. He was wonderful, kind & professional. The bartenders & rest of staff made us feel 100% comfortable on our 3 hour cruise.Leading up up to the day I was having more than 2nd thoughts about doing her shower on a boat but when the day came, it was all Perfect!! “Eagle Oaks came highly recommended to us while we were searching for a venue to host our big day. We could not have asked for anything more. From the service, to the food our expectations were far exceeded.We met Amanda in the very beginning stages of choosing Eagle Oaks. She was there through it all to help answer any and all questions we had, and make sure we were truly settled on all ends from planning to decision making, everything. She was extremely attentive and constantly checking in to ensure there was as little stress as possible. At our final details meeting, she sat and ran through the entire night with me so we knew our wedding would be exactly what we wanted.We met Melissa at our tasting last fall. She was amazing from the start. Her attitude was so positive, kind, and warm. My husband and I knew we would be in good hands immediately. She checked on us throughout our tasting, making sure we understood how everything would work on the big day, as well as ensuring we were happy with everything.Fast forward to the wedding, Melissa was nothing short of amazing once again. From the very moment my bridal party and I arrived, she came in to check in on us throughout the afternoon and evening with a beaming smile every time, again ensuring everyone was happy and enjoying themselves.My parents and I were introduced to George at our final details meeting. He too had a fantastic attitude to the point that even after only speaking with him for a few moments, I knew we would not have anything to worry or stress about.The night of our rehearsal, George made us feel very comfortable that everything would go off without a hitch Friday evening (which it did). George spent ample time explaining to the bridal party, our families, and officiant, exactly how everything would work for the ceremony. Checking in to see if anyone had any questions or concerns, and made suggestions on how to improve aspects such as the bridal party entrance and exit so that it would look as seamless as possible. He took extra time to explain how everything else for the day would work for my husband, Chris, and I.When we returned Friday afternoon, George promptly greeted myself, the bridal party, and my parents. He and Melissa walked us to the bridal suite and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed.After the ceremony, George led Chris and I back to the bridal suite, making sure we had a chance to eat and have some alone time as newlyweds before the party started. All night, he was by our side making sure everything went smoothly and stayed on schedule.Donna was also incredible. She too checked in on me in the bridal suite several times throughout the night. We had some great conversation! Just like Melissa and George, she too had a wonderful personality.One thing I can say for certain is that Eagle Oaks has an amazing, attentive, caring and truly kind staff. Another is that the food is just absolutely beyond words, and the service is excellent. I will be recommending the venue any and every chance I get.We could not have imagined or asked for a more beautiful special day.”

The restaurant setup was a bit odd as well but it can accommodate a lot of customer.The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.All entres came with salad, which was fresh and tasty. We had fried calamari’s, Zuppa di pesce, and salmon with lemon sauce. The portions of food were huge! The calamari’s came with hot and regular sauces. The zuppa came with plenty of seafood. All of them were delicious but nothing super.The pistachio cake was wonderful!Parking: Free valet parking only. If possible, don’t park around the neighborhood!Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all on the same level, easily accessible for wheelchair.”

“There are too many amazing things to say! I was a bride on March 8, 2024. The shore club provided me with my absolute fairytale wedding. Chelsea the bridal coordinator was incredible. She was so helpful, informative, and fun to work with. She was quick to respond to all of my emails whenever I had any questions. Penny was my maitre d and she was so sweet. She listened and always made sure to ask if I needed anything and made sure I was ok the entire day and night. Billy the general manager was also amazing and so hands on. He made sure to guide me even when I was stressing out and he seemed to really love doing his job! All of the staff were friendly and attentive. The bridal suite was SUPER cute and we all took advantage of selfies with the neon sign. Everyone really helped make my day perfect. It was easily the best day of me and my now husbands lives. All of the guests also had a great time and experience. The shore club really makes you feel like you are family and at home. Will definitely be back to have dinner, hangout the bar, and hopefully attend other weddings in the future!”
