“Had a wonderful overall experience at the Mays Landing, NJ location of BJ's Optical Department. Ron Nicholas was the optician I worked with on a large order to replace the lenses in 5 pairs of glasses. I had just gotten a new prescription so wanted to take care of this as soon as possible.

Not only did Ron take the time to explain everything & answer all of my questions, he also was very warm, friendly & professional.

I felt as if he truly cared about me as a customer & was very appreciative as getting exceptional customer service these days is a rare thing!

I was told my order would be ready in 2 weeks but was pleasantly surprised to get a call from Ron after only 1 week had passed saying all 5 of my new glasses with their new lenses were ready for pick-up!

When I came in to get the glasses, once again Ron took the time to check that everything with each pair of glasses was correct & that each pair of glasses fit correctly & that I could see clearly out of each one as expected.

My overall experience with Ron was truly something that I will remember for a long time. It has been rare to find an employee that actually takes the time to give such excellent customer service and has the patience & professionalism that Ron exhibited!”

“One nice thing if you need a mobility scooter, they work great here. Always charged and run fast. The other food chains should take a lesson from Acme. This was one other reason I switched to Acme

If you need to go here, the best time is early in the morning. The people are friendly and say hello. Even the people restocking the shelves. And Barbara was great at checkout!

If you go in the evening, I see a different set of employees they seem like they don't even notice you. Maybe to many people in store. If it's after 12:00 noon, I will wait to the next day.

The best part is the food and vegetables. Excellent quality by far compared to other chain grocery stores. I do most of my vegetables shopping at acme.”

“Very good place to purchase items in size packaging and otherwise at times. Good shop for family shoppers. The quality of the goods and groceries sold is very good, their own brand Berkley Jensen makes good quality goods are comparable to brand name items times. Good selection of electronics as those sold at Club Shopping places.”

“I got my both covid-19 vaccine shots done in this pharmacy and they screwed up my digital records so now the QR code only shows 1 shot, which was actually my second shot. I went there to talk to someone in person, they said the first shot was cancelled in their system, and that it happened before, that there is a problem with the system. They said they can't fix the record themselves and they need to talk to the district manager, then they said they sent an email somewhere and the record will be fixed in a few days. One week later it's still not fixed, and when I called the pharmacy, they said they don't know the status. Incompetent people.
Update: the manager called me and took care of the problem. I am raising the rating because they solved the problem. Besides this vaccination , I went there for flu shots and everything went well.”

“I just moved to the are and I am very pleased with this BJ. The store is clean and very well organized the employees are super nice. But perhaps mr favorite feature is the shop online with curbside pickup. They usually have all the items I need, the order has always been correct, and they are very quick to deliver the items to my car!! Fantastic job, keep up the great work.”

It’s not as crowded, it’s cleaner, and they seem to have more items in stock.”
