“Johnny's auto painting and bodyworks Inc is the best affordable auto body shop in the area. I had a scratch in my front bumper that needed to be repaired. He really gave me a fair price and promised that the car will be ready for pickup the next day. I dropped of the car yesterday morning and just pick it up before lunch time as promised. He is a man of integrity. I would have given him a 10 stars review if I could. It was a pleasure to do business with him. I will be his lifetime customer for any future auto body needs and will recommend his shop to my friends.”

A dealer and another repair shop said a new engine was needed on my 2013 Prius V; the latter offered to “dispose” of car at no cost (I suspect they would have repaired and sold it). Extensively researched shops specializing in hybrid engine repairs:

Kyle, Walko Hybrid Technician fixed my car in 2 weeks (after sitting in my driveway, for 1 year). Asked me for car symptoms:
• Check engine light displayed;
• Engine revved, without me pressing on gas;
• Jack hammer or slight fluttering noise, when accelerated from a stop (due to coolant leaking into engine and then drying up); and
• Diagnostic codes from my T-Mobile tool (engine misfires).
He provided details and pricing for me to make needed decisions. After repairs made, my car drives like new, even though it has 226,000 miles:
• Head gasket replaced;
• Water pump replaced;
• Brake master cylinder module replaced; and
• Damaged engine cylinder repaired by machine shop.
Any NJ hybrid owner, who needs car repairs should go to Walko. You won’t regret it!”

“I first met Dave Matticoli about a decade and a half ago when I used to sneak out with my Dad’s car in high-school and invite mischief ? whether it be hitting a deer (2x), reversing no into a stationary object or even being hit in the rear by another driver in New York, Dave has been there for all my mishaps. Gino Auto Body has not changed a single bit. Every time I fixed my car with Gino I was able to forgive myself as well because it was like the damage never occurred. I was out of there in 45 minutes with a new tire. I had a weird sized tire that another shop couldn’t repair and they were my second stop. True angels with a great selection of tires and friendly techs.”

“Branning did a great job with the car, feels like brand new! Estimate was quick, they work with enterprise nearby so they come pick you up and you can drop off the rental at Branning which is a plus! The have their own calibration capabilities for BMW incase anything wrong with the sensors - They are responsive as well, always pick up calls and call back. I would recommend them for anyone in the area.”

“I don’t know where to start & praise their honesty. I had an issue with Audi q5 turbo charger and dealer wanted to charge $5K. Showed up to Jeff’s garage and had casual conversation with Mike who took his time to explain me all scenarios, ran the codes and said it’s likely just the actuator that is faulty and needs replacement. Suggested to get after market part from eBay, amazon or OEM part from fcbeuro (great find). I made an appointment two weeks out and he ended up just replacing actuator instead of entire turbo. Cost me total of $550 including parts instead of $5K dealer quoted me. It has been couple of months since the fix and car runs just fine. Finding Jeff’s garage was like finding needle in hay stack. Mike keep up the good work, I already recommended you guys to few friends and family. Thank you!”
“I went to Next Gen Performance to have them install a new charge pipe and HKS BOV on my turbocharged ND2 Miata. What sounded like a simple install turned out to be quite challenging because of how tight and difficult to access the charge pipe deep in the engine bay.
Alex and his team did a great job figuring out the most cost-effective way to get everything installed without unnecessarily tearing the car apart. He kept me updated throughout the process. I was very impressed with their attention to detail—not only making sure everything was installed and put back together correctly, but also taking the time to clean up the engine bay area they worked on. The turnaround time was really quick. They started working on it soon after I dropped it off late in the afternoon and it was ready early the next morning. In the end, the cost for all the work done was a bit more than I expected but it was fair.
Alex is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely enjoys sharing that knowledge. He took the time to explain the different components of my turbo setup and answer all of my questions, which gave me some great ideas for potential future upgrades.
Everyone at the shop was friendly, relaxed, and focused on making sure I was happy with the work. It's clear that they take pride in what they do and care about their customers.
I'm very happy with the work and would definitely recommend Alex and the Next Gen Performance team for car modifications, performance upgrades, and routine maintenance. I'll definitely be coming back for future work on my Miata.”
