“I’ve been a member here for over 5 years and I’ve seen many changes but one constant is the enthusiastic, friendly and caring front desk staff and coaches! I’m always greeted with smiles and friendly banter. The workouts are always challenging and fun. The coaches are knowledgeable and push you to run faster, lift heavier and row with more power. The “theory” or “science” works. I am much stronger and healthier than before OTF. As far as weight loss/bodyfat, we all know that mainly happens in the kitchen lol. “This is an absolutely great place for kids and families. Conveniently located in a small shopping center with plenty of parking, it is a bright, airy place decorated with primary colors and full of opportunities for the little ones to work off their energy in a safe, positive environment.My daughter-in-law and 3-year-old granddaughter are spending this year at Princeton, and my daughter-in-law took out a membership here. My granddaughter attends a one-hour tumbling class on a weekday morning, and a 1-hour pass to let a child stay after the class is also available. Plenty of kid-safe activities are available, including, slides, jumping surfaces, kid-safe balancing beams, and safe climbing surfaces, as well as supervised activities.We had my granddaughter's birthday party here, and she and all her little friends had a wonderful time. Two staff members are provided for each party, and I can't say enough about the friendliness and enthusiasm of Ryan, who was the main party host. This is a wonderful place, and if you are spending time in Princeton and have small children, definitely something to look into.”

“Great local gym with a variety of equipment and machines that fits your workout needs (pun very much intended). If you are new to this gym, you can do a 3 day free trial before committing to a full membership or buying a day/week pass. Since I'm on vacation back home for the holidays, I will only be getting a week pass ($25). For anyone who is not too sure of how often they will go to the gym or are in town for a short period of time, you can buy a day pass for $10. I ended up doing some running on the treadmill because it was raining. The treadmill was kind of old (the built in fan was dusty) and difficult to use (touchscreen was not super sensitive). However, there were staff everywhere ensuring that machines and equipment were clean. Probably just one of those machines that they invested in a few years ago and will be used until it falls apart. Will be curious to check out the other equipment they have in the upcoming days. Overall, pretty decent accommodations, ranging from a sauna in the locker rooms and beverages up front. There is also a theater in the back, but I'm not 100% sure what it is used for. They also hold group classes in a small room in the back corner. If it is not actively being used for a class, it's a great place to stretch for warm up and/or cool down.”

“My home studio is in NC, but I have been coming here for the past few months while I’m in town. Justin was the coach during my first class. He was super welcoming and an awesome instructor. All the coaches here are great too. Highly recommend this location!”

“The N Brunswick establishment is a clean, and super fun location with parking.Tho encouraged to do what you can at your own speed, all instructors perform a safe/intense workout. From hitting the bag you select (different weight capacity) with punching and kicking combos, core isolation to hand/barbell weights/medicine balls. Warm ups/down, breathing and stretching techniques are included as well. All while speaking clearly using a headset, listening to a music selection of their choice to entice an upbeat mood.They provide a cleaning solution/paper towels to wipe your area after your workout.SUPER DIVERSE from ages etc., to skill levels, ALL ARE WELCOMED, advanced and beginners (like myself) however, I don’t feel judged as instructors and seasoned participants alike take the class also.I look forward to every class as early as 5:30am to evening time slots (Not really any late afternoon wkday classes 12-3 or late Sat-Sun. Get it in early, ppl have lives!) as I continue my 16wk challenge. I also anticipate making this type of exercise regimen a way of life to stay fit and physically healthy…. And it’s so much fun!”
“Stellar local gym. The owner, Gary, is very sweet and really cares about people & his facility. It has all the equipment you'd need and it's never crowded so I've never had to wait in a line for something I've wanted to use. The equipment and decor all share a unified retro aesthetic. Everything is kept extremely clean - I see the owner cleaning basically every night. This all leads to the atmosphere of this gym being very calming, perfect if you favor a quiet relaxing workout experience. Lots of mirrors and high windows letting in natural light. I just can't imagine using a crowded noisy commercial gym after frequenting this place.All the patrons are very friendly. Besides weights, there are cardio machines, a martial arts dojo with classes offered, personal trainers, spin bikes, and more. I've been coming here over a year now and it's become my new happy place.”

“I’ve been a member at this gym for a little over a year now and can honestly say it’s a great facility. A little on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for and Pinnacle has a lot to offer compared to cheaper gyms in the area. I’ve trained at various Retro Fitness gyms around the state for years prior to joining Pinnacle, but got tired of the after work crowd and having to wait to use equipment. I’m typically a 6am workout person, but I have come to Pinnacle after work several times during the week for a quick workout. Aside from children coming in for activities with parents, I can’t say I’ve experienced a real crowd or have had to really wait to workout with any equipment. I hope it stays this way lol”
“Fantastic facilities inside what looks like an old building. The basket ball court is great and so is the weights room. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. This is open only to Rutgers University students, faculty and staff. This is one of several gymnasiums that Rutgers University has but this is probably the only one on College Avenue campus.”

“What a great community gym and positive atmosphere. Location in a shopping center but not the same as other franchise gyms. Under new management and you can tell with the continuous improvements the gym is undergoing. Since PJ started as leadership of General Manager, there has been nothing but positive improvements to classes offering and gym equipment. More to come and they are expanding to more space with a larger indoor turf area. They have AI technology two treadmills with interactive media so you can mimic going on hikes with treads that move up and down like you are on a physical hill or mountain. They have also added Mat Pilates level 1 and 2 and Afro steps class with Afro beats carribean vibes -unique in nature. And if want to be extra motivated at 8am on saturday morning come to John's Body Blast Bootcamp HIIT workout with a live DJ. With new additions the gym is more crowded so if you want access to machines and equipment avoid peak times which is 5pm or later on weeknights. Then end the night with a sauna in locker room to help loosen your muscles for stretching post workouts. They also have a smoothie bar with cold brew on tap if morning workout need extra caffeine.”
“Gym is not clean and the sanitizer is water. Every time I leave feeling dirty no matter how much I use on the equipment. Also the GM is miserable, mean to customers and will probably call me to yell at me about this review. The only reason I keep my membership is because of Adnan the yoga instructor who is amazing.”
“Fantastic CrossFit gym with amazing coaches and an awesome community. Workouts are tough but always scalable, and the support here makes you want to keep coming back. I attend the group classes during the weekdays and also take private instruction
from Justin once a week which is outstanding as we work on specific exercises to address certain of my mobility issues. These exercises seem so important for people of all ages that I now have my husband attending. Our kids are also big fans of CrossFit Nassau. I feel as the years go on it is evermore important. Thinking that if you are used to box jumps one is certainly going to be able to handle any challenges that appear during the icy winter months and easily recover from slip and falls.”
