Pet Care

Veterinary Dentistry Specialists
2061 Briggs Rd #403, Mt LaurelThis is probably THE friendliest veterinary clinic I have ever been in (Woodbury VDS). Everyone clearly wants to be there and loves the dogs they treat. The doctor and anesthesiologist take time to meet with you and answer questions. Keep in mind, this is a specialty clinic and the prices reflect that, but your pet will be amazingly cared for and having an anesthesiologist on staff is especially important for more sensitive cases due to age and/ or health. They can also get you in much more quickly than most regular offices!

Larchmont Animal Hospital
206 Hartford Rd, Mt LaurelI had posted about a month ago after my dog chase passed away and noticed what I wrote never posted! All I can say is, WOW.
Of course saying goodbye to your baby is beyond heartbreaking but being among these incredible warm heartfelt doctors just made the experience (if it’s even possible) a little bit easier. Dr. Odgers, Dr. Foley, and Shawn Cumberland as well as the other nurses/techs, Brenda at the front desk are just amazing. I truly felt the sadness and warmth from everyone. They have been incredible, caring and so knowledgeable with both my dogs. They will be a part of my family forever! Thank you so much

Rancocas Veterinary Associates
3201 Marne Hwy, Mt LaurelI had an emergency with 2 of my goats and my regular vet was unavailable. I called Rancocas and despite not being a regular customer, Dr. Riegel and Dr. Curtiss came out that afternoon to check our goats. They were both very knowledgable and caring, were great with our goats, provided some options and worked with us to develop a plan of care. We are so grateful for their compassion and willingness to help us, and we will be using Rancocas moving forward!

Manila Cafe & Asian Mart
200 Larchmont Blvd, Mt LaurelThis was my very first time trying Filipino food, and WOW, Manila Café & Asian Mart has officially made me a fan for life. Every dish was bursting with flavor and felt like a warm, delicious introduction to the cuisine. I ordered the pork BBQ skewers, and they were insanely good, juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned. The pancit bihon was everything I want in noodles: light, savory, and totally addictive. The pork siopao was soft, fluffy, and so flavorful. The beef caldereta was rich, comforting, and perfect for a chilly day. And the lumpiang shanghai? I could eat those nonstop, crispy, flavorful, and dangerously good. Service was quick, friendly, and easy, which made the whole experience even better. The ambiance has that cozy, home-style market café vibe, simple, welcoming, and all about the food (which is exactly how it should be!). Portions were generous, and I even had leftovers, a huge win. Unfortunately I ate first this time and not my phone, thus no pics. If you're new to Filipino food or already love it, this spot is a must. I'll definitely be back!

The Shack
120 Creek Rd, Mt LaurelThe Rancocas Woods section of Mount Laurel, NJ, has a bit of the feel of Middle Earth populated by hobbits living in small round-doors tree trunks and caves. It is a captivating piece of Jersey. It is well epitomized by The Hot Dog Shack and its menu board of more than two dozen customized frankfurter possibilities. I was Anthony's first customer of the day, and he treated me well. I went with his Chicago Dog (see photo) which came as described and was a mouthful to consume. I had to apply pressure and squeeze this creation down to a size that fit into my mouth from first bite to last. All beef wiener, potato roll and a side table for garnish. He even made me a cup of coffee on the house. Fun deliciousness all the way. And the surrounding buildings were just as charming and worthy of closer inspection. The cafe next door had some worthy looking baked goods that would have made a nice dessert had I the time to sit in their lovely parlor and indulge. Next time, for sure. I also had a fascinating conversation while I ate my hot dog, with Anthony's friend, Steve, who had been a minor league baseball star both in the USA and Europe. I saw old clippings about his success, and compared notes about living overseas; he as an athlete. Me as a student and businessman. That conversation made my day. So, although I stopped by for a hot dog, I left with something even more priceless - a totally unexpected meeting that was richer than I could have imagined when I woke up this morning. 5 Stars for the Dog and Conversation.

Mango's Cafe
200 Larchmont Blvd, Mt LaurelI absolutely love, Love, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mango’s Cafe Peruvian Chicken with Green Sauce!!!!! The food at Mango’s Cafe is authentic Peruvian and very tasty! It’s authentic Peruvian home cooked meals at an affordable price in South Jersey. This little hidden place in Mt Laurel has the ”BEST” Peruvian chicken ever!!!! Pollo a la Brasa or Peruvian Chicken with Green Sauce is a vibrant example of Peruvian cuisine. The meat was tender and melted in your mouth. The accompanying green sauce, which gets its color from cilantro and jalapeño peppers, is spicy, creamy and downright delectable. It’s sooo irresistible! The food is nice with reasonable price and restaurant atmosphere is very cozy. Love their fun colorful Llama and traditional clothing decor too! A really fun place to go and a great place to eat after work. The food is delicious and the portions are great. Their Peruvian drinks are fantastic too! Chicha Morada is a sweet, cool, purple fruit juice made from purple corn, indigenous to the Inca Natives of Peru. I had my first chicha morada and it was amazing! This purple corn drink is famous all over the Andes! They even have Inca Kola too! This more popular than Coca-Cola in Peru! Inca Kola is a popular soft drink from Peru, known for its sweet, essence of Lemon verbena with bubblegum-like flavor and distinctive yellow color. It’s a must try for people who enjoys unique soda drinking experience!!! Mango’s Cafe is a go GO!!!!! Muy bien!!!
