741 Stokes Rd, MedfordThis is the only store that we buy bird seed at now. It was crazy how the birds were just throwing so much of the seed down on the grass and I was growing every weed imaginable. That absolutely does not happen with any of the bird seed nut mixes we buy here. They eat every single seed and nut. The store has an adorable gift shop as well..and so many bird feeders. The owner and the people that work there are super knowledgeable and I really appreciate them.

Everyone there is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the prices are beyond reasonable. I expected my total to be double what it was! The dog bandanas are adorable and such a great deal, and my pup absolutely loves his treats. My friend found some cute stuff for her cat, too.
You really can’t go wrong here.

675 Stokes Rd, MedfordI honestly cannot recommend Lauren enough, finding a groomer that my dog Luna was comfortable with was incredibly difficult, she is very picky and doesn’t warm up to just anyone, so we were nervous trying someone new. From Luna’s very first appointment with Lauren, we knew we had found someone special.
Lauren was patient, kind, and treated Luna like she was her own. After seeing how amazing she was, we brought our other dog, Jax, and she was just as wonderful with him. Since then, we only book with Lauren. We will gladly wait for her schedule because she’s worth it! She has earned our complete trust.
It’s been about three years now, and I can honestly say she is the best groomer we’ve ever had. EVER!!! My dogs are always happy to see her, they come home looking amazing, and I know they’re being cared for by someone who truly loves animals.
Lauren isn’t just an incredible groomer, she’s an incredible person. Thank you, Lauren, for taking such amazing care of Luna and Jax. We appreciate you more than words can express!

Village Veterinary Hospital
177 Church Rd, MedfordVillage Veterinary Hospital was recommended to us by my sister in law who takes her beautiful, healthy husky to them. We started taking our new Sable gsd here when he was 14 weeks old. He's about 5 months now.
The vet is gentle, informative, and honest. She cured his hookworm, and gave him all his shots and meds. They clipped his nails. She also gave us tips so he can kive his best life. Our boy is happy, and healthy.
The place itself is impeccably clean. They have a separate entrance for cats and dogs. The staff is wonderful! Our boy hated car rides, but he is fine once he goes inside for his checkups. Pricing might be higher than other versions, but in my experiences, you get what you pay for.

They are great with my 2 cats and are very comfortable with cat energy. It’s a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Practice which makes for a much better vet experience for the kitties. This place though has taken the cake. I have never been to a brewery that pours, pun intended, their heart and soul into brewing. Their menu is small but there is something for everyone and their beer is top tier.

39 S Main St, MedfordThe food was really good. We sat outside and went to this specific restaurant because they have a dog menu and accept dogs. We sat outside, midday, at the large patio table to the left of the picture shown. We ordered salmon for the dog, got everyone's food but one entree and the dog's salmon. The server came back with the other entree 5 mins later, but no salmon for the dog. We asked, they went back, 5mins later said we are out of salmon, here's the menu to pick another...I said how about the turkey burger...they said we are out but what about a regular burger? Just slow service and the dog got his burger at the end of the meal. Oh well. Happy they serve dog's at all, but meh service. 🐾

Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge
4 Sawmill Rd, MedfordThis is a wildlife rescue and rehab. After calling to verify, I dropped off a Gull that I found lying in the sand. The staff was very tuned in to how to accept wildlife without compromising the safety of other animals. They also can give you a status update 1 week after the patient entered.
There is a sanctuary that's part of this beautiful property. Non-releasable wildlife lives here. Certain days of the week visitors are permitted to see and learn about raccoons, raptors, and several others species.
