If course we keep our feeders stocked with their seed products but they have so many other items that make sweet, earth-friendly gifts. Glad they are a Medford fixture!

26 S Main St, MedfordWhat’s not to love about Pride Paws? It’s a fantastic pet supply store *and* a place that provides job training and employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities... truly a win-win.
Everyone there is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the prices are beyond reasonable. I expected my total to be double what it was! The dog bandanas are adorable and such a great deal, and my pup absolutely loves his treats. My friend found some cute stuff for her cat, too.
You really can’t go wrong here.

Good selection of healthy options for your pets. They also have some supplies for reptiles too, which is better than having to drive to a big box store for some basics. Friendly and knowledgeable staff will point you in the right direction if you have questions!

675 Stokes Road, MedfordI’m honestly shocked that I was charged $70 to have TWO dogs’ nails trimmed — $35 per dog.
My dogs are regular clients, and I routinely spend close to or over $400 including tip when they’re groomed. My vet couldn’t get us in for a nail trim, so naturally I reached out to the groomer we already use. I even asked if I could bring the dogs to them, but they don’t have a physical location, so mobile service was my only option.
I also live TWO MILES from their home base.
I completely understand paying a premium for mobile grooming, but $70 for two basic nail trims when I’m two miles away feels absurd. Had I known the price beforehand, I absolutely would have gone elsewhere.
There’s paying extra for convenience, and then there’s feeling taken advantage of. As a loyal client who regularly spends $400+ with them, this was incredibly disappointing and honestly feels like highway robbery.

177 Church Rd, MedfordVillage Veterinary Hospital was recommended to us by my sister in law who takes her beautiful, healthy husky to them. We started taking our new Sable gsd here when he was 14 weeks old. He's about 5 months now.
The vet is gentle, informative, and honest. She cured his hookworm, and gave him all his shots and meds. They clipped his nails. She also gave us tips so he can kive his best life. Our boy is happy, and healthy.
The place itself is impeccably clean. They have a separate entrance for cats and dogs. The staff is wonderful! Our boy hated car rides, but he is fine once he goes inside for his checkups. Pricing might be higher than other versions, but in my experiences, you get what you pay for.

They are great with my 2 cats and are very comfortable with cat energy. It’s a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Practice which makes for a much better vet experience for the kitties. We were very indecisive and the bartender, Grace, made us drinks to our tastes— they were prepared fabulously, seriously so good. The side of fries we ordered came out in literally 45 seconds, I’m not sure I’ve ever had faster service in a restaurant. I had the birria tacos, which were delicious and brought out promptly. We stayed quite a while and were served efficiently and kindly. The vibes were definitely high energy and happy. Would totally recommend anyone who’s looking to have a great, fun night come by.

Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge
4 Sawmill Rd, MedfordThis is a wildlife rescue and rehab. After calling to verify, I dropped off a Gull that I found lying in the sand. The staff was very tuned in to how to accept wildlife without compromising the safety of other animals. They also can give you a status update 1 week after the patient entered.
There is a sanctuary that's part of this beautiful property. Non-releasable wildlife lives here. Certain days of the week visitors are permitted to see and learn about raccoons, raptors, and several others species.
