and train program was the best choice. However, we were very selective about who we trusted with him. We wanted him to receive excellent training without losing his personality or coming home feeling more like a robot than a dog.
We found Carlos through a recommendation from a friend, and we could not be happier with our decision. Carlos spent four weeks working with our puppy, who was naturally shy and, at times, genuinely fearful. He came home a happy, confident, well mannered, and obedient dog who was still completely himself.
Throughout the entire four weeks, Carlos sent us photos and videos every day, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to see the progress firsthand. It was clear not only that our puppy was being trained, but that he was genuinely being cared for and treated as part of the family.
What made the experience even more valuable was the environment Carlos created. His own dog helped our puppy become comfortable and confident around other dogs, while his daughter helped him learn how to safely and appropriately interact with our 12 month old daughter at the time. Those real life experiences were just as important to us as the obedience training itself.
We cannot recommend Carlos highly enough. Whether your dog needs basic obedience, more advanced training, or simply greater confidence and structure, Carlos is an exceptional trainer. Investing in his training was one of the best decisions we could have made for our dog and for the relationship we will have with him for years to come.

K9 Basics - Dog Training
131 Kennilworth Rd, MarltonMy husband and I could not be happier with the training our Leo got at K9 Basics. We did the board and train program. He was a good dog when we rescued him but he was extremely difficult to walk. He’s so strong. If he saw a squirrel or someone on a bike or scooter, he would lunge so hard. After his training, we can now walk him with no issues. He listens so well to us when we tell him to come, sit, off or place! His trainer Andrew was amazing! The training facility was so clean and we loved how they would post photos on their Facebook page. We cannot wait for the weather to cooperate so we can go back and visit and Leo can play with the friends he made at K9. It was a great investment for us and for Leo! We can now enjoy him at his full potential!
