“Just wow! A friend told me about this place and I thought I wouldn't find anything because I have a plant based diet. Not true. There is a ton of organic, plant based, and healthy foods here. Expiration dates vary but most are pretty good, like a month or two +. I've found fresh fruits, vegetables, diaya cheesecake, oat milk ice cream, diaya pizza, nut milks, etc. a whole gallon of bit milk is about $3-4 and the pizza was just $3-4. Wow! Just wow. The stock rotates so you never know what you'll find. Hi there often. You won't be disappointed.Take a look at my pic. Grocery Outlet haul. Lots of specialty items and organic. $160 spent. $183 saved!”

“One of the women who works here remembers my name. You get a number and wait for someone to call your number. I recommend getting the chicken salad and homemade potato salad here.When my grandfather was alive, I bought hoagies here. He always liked Italian hoagies (with no oregano). I would call and pre-order the hoagie and then pick it up. Excellent customer service and great prices!”

“DiPascale's at Meadowbrook Shopping Center - Pennsauken I got the medium sized (10 inch roll) "Pepper Lovers Dream" - pepper turkey, pepper ham, hot pepper cheese, pepper shooters, long hots, lettuce, tomato, onion, light on the oil and vinegar. This hoagie is thiccck. Yeah, thick with 3 c's. I only ate half for lunch, and I have a big apetite (give me an hour or two and I'll probably go finish it ). You want to talk about the BEST hoagie spots, to me, this is one of the spots that sets the bar. I don't mind the $12.99 tag on this when you get what you pay for. The roll holds up, the lunch meat is quality, the veg is crisp and delish. Someone tried telling me this place has fallen off and they serve lettuce sandwiches. Naw, this should be the standard if you're going to put the hoagie on a pedestal.”

“I live on 2nd street and have been coming here since they opened. I ordered this sandwich now 4 times and every time it is better. It’s the S10 Roast Beef Hot sliced thin, cheddar cheese and horseradish. It also comes with cucumber, lettuce and tomato that I don’t get. If you like roast beef this is the best around. It’s better than PARCS lunch toast beef sandwich. A must try!!!!!! You will not be disappointed. Word of caution, the horseradish has a kick to it….”

“I have to say first and foremost, even better than the food, is the friendly service. The woman at the front was so kind and patient with us while we ordered, so much good food it was hard to choose. I eventually chose the pork katsu and my goodness was it flavorful. The cutlet was the perfect form of crispy and juicy and the curry put it all together. Definitely a warm and comforting meal worth the trip to Ardmore to enjoy. The little convenience store on the other side is also a plus. Was able to pick up some staples like togarashi and hon tsuyu for the home. Love this place. Thanks to everyone who works here! “Now I was suppose to take pictures but unfortunately my appetite took over, I'll show y'all next time. These hoagies are ammmmaaaaazzzzziiiinnnggggg! So fresh, so flavorful, and stays great 2 days later. The staff are soooo polite and welcoming. The girl at the register is so knowledgeable about all the products and gave great advice. The seafood bisque was soooo full of seafood and they give you the option of if you want it hot or not so you can enjoy it fresh at home or right at the moment, soooo convenient. “I ate a meatball hoagie from here in like 2011 that I still think about. I have never before or since found one that slapped that hard - could not believe those out-of-the-warming-pot meatballs and fresh sliced prov could make that magic but it did.Also tried my friend’s sandwich which was the Italian (as advertised, a true classic - hard to find them like that anywhere but the old delis now) but I was so lost in the sauce of the meatballs that it didn’t matter.Also, the guy behind the counter? “I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Carlino's Bakery. They have everything you need for any event or family function. I've had something from every department and never had any complaints. The cakes and pastries are delicious, the cheeses, their pre-made meals (i.e: lasagna, salads, etc...) , their hot paninis & fresh loaf of bread are all great. “Have been shopping at Trader Joe's on Arch Street for several months. Store is clean, well lit and we'll stocked. Dairy products are very reasonable. Great selection of some unusual items not found in chain supermarkets. Most items are priced well in comparison. TJ's ground and whole bean coffee selection is good and priced well. Cashiers are very friendly and helpful. I always enjoy my shopping trips to Trader Joe's.”

“I love South Deli. I've been going to them for awhile. It's the only place in Center City that sells Dominican/Puerto Rican food. Food that my Puerto Rican mom use to make. My favorite is the pernil, of course. But the rice with beef stew is delicious too. I have to bring home the tostones and pastelillos to my son and husband. That is their favorite. From cured meats to fine cheeses and all the pantry items in between, there is nowhere better to go.Olives, shooters, seafood salad, pasta, olive oil, gourmet vinegars... this shop is an overload for the senses!From the cheeses, among the "have to try" are aged provolone, extra aged Beemster (a gouda beyond explanation), Moliterno al Tartufo, and Testun Occelli alla Grappa.Their pepperoni has no comparison! You will always get fast, friendly service when you visit.Parking can be a challenge. The sidewalk will set you back $51 bucks, but can't be beat for convenience when you're hauling out 5 or 6 bags of goods! :)”
