“I've been meaning to write a review...I cannot say enough good things about this auto repair shop and about Les in particular!
My mom was visiting me from out of town, and we decided to take a little girls trip together to a restaurant about 45 minutes away. We drove my car, a car my grandmother had recently gifted me,that had a long-standing issue where the battery would randomly die. I’d dealt with it for years by carrying a jumper pack everywhere, which usually worked. This time, it didn’t.
After lunch, in the pouring rain, I stopped for gas and the car completely died. No jump would work, no matter what we tried. We were stranded far from home, in heavy rain, and I was only weeks away from giving birth, very pregnant and pretty overwhelmed.
Thankfully, this repair shop was connected to the gas station. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Les and his coworker, who were kind, calm, and reassuring from the start. They tried everything to get the car running, and when it became clear it wasn’t happening, Les walked me through my options. He gave me a fair, honest price for the repair and promised that no matter what they found, the price would stay the same.
The issue turned out to be much bigger than we expected. There was a hidden power drain somewhere in the car. Instead of giving up or cutting corners, Les took the time to test every single part of the vehicle to find the exact source of the problem. This was an issue no one had been willing (or able) to track down for years & he found it.
Les was compassionate, patient, honest, and incredibly skilled. On a day that could have been scary and stressful, he felt like an actual angel. It genuinely felt like the car broke down exactly where it was meant to.
3 months later, my car has been running perfectly & most importantly, I now have a safe, reliable car for my baby and me. I will forever be grateful and will recommend this shop to anyone who asks.
