“Very convenient, large grocery store with pretty much all you can imagine. The staff has always been friendly and checkout rarely has a wait. There are often good sales and prices overall are reasonable. Parking is rarely an issue.”

I went in there to browse because I just moved to the area and the people working in the business were very nice and very welcoming. They have a bunch of premade meals and fresh meat that all look delicious!
They also have your basic needs like milk and vegetables. I decided on raviolis and they were great!”

“Wegmans is easily one of my favorite grocery stores. The produce and meat are consistently fresh, and the cheese and deli sections have a fantastic selection. I also love the variety of prepared meals and desserts, plus the pharmacy is excellent. Great quality throughout the store. I just wish there were more Wegmans locations in New Jersey!”

“We discovered Maharaja store during pandemic induced lockdown while searching for an Indian grocery store that has home delivery. It was recommended by a friend, and it certainly did not disappoint. You can order authentic Kerala groceries and snacks online and have it delivered to your home for free although I highly suggest adding tips for the service. For any questions, Sarin makes himself available on his cell phone and promptly asks for feedback regarding individual items, especially when something is newly introduced. The ripe plantains are the best that I have found in NJ (makes the best plantain fritters called "pazham pori" in Kerala - the equivalent of the Spanish platanos maduros), but it's hard to get as it gets sold out soon. I cannot recommend Maharaja store enough. Must try !”

“I love shopping at Lidl! Their products are excellent. The fruit is always good, I have yet to have a bad pineapple. The best part are the prices, I save so much money! People should be lining up to get in that’s how much you can save. The bread is directly from Germany shipped frozen and baked fresh in the store. The Lidl plus savers app is fun to use to save even more money. I love how after spending X amount of dollars you get a free item!!”

“The food here is extremely delicious. The cashier and chef are also so nice. It was surprising for me to find out the Chef was vegan and cooking the meals so well and flavorful. My husband and I are in here once a week- our favorite has been their Chop cheese.
They have a sign for the chop cheese being a guaranteed return choice and its 1000% true.”
“Pleasant, clean, well-lighted store on Raritan Road in Clark, New Jersey. An A&P for many years, the supermarket was purchased by Acme about 10 years ago. Fruits and vegetables are fresh, nice seafood selection, plus an in-store pharmacy. Hours are plentiful (6 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day) and so is parking. Good stop.”
“Found this little gem in Rahway nj. I was craving pupusas and was happy to know I did not have to drive to Elizabeth to find freshly made to order pupusas. They have a small section with salvadorean snacks and pan dulce for sale. They also have local salvadorean medicine. The menu was perfect easy to read, although the prices a bit high. The pupusa mixta was delicious, the pork was not overwhelming and the bean and cheese-riquisima! The only thing I was not impressed with was the salsa and encurtido-they lack presentation and flavor. I felt the encurtido could have more veggies in it. The tamal was simple but tasty. I saw some orders of the salvadorean traditional breakfast come out and it looked amazing. I will be back and try their nuegados and the breakfast for sure.”

“I have been going to this farmers market for almost a decade now. You really can’t beat the good price. The selection depends on the seasons you’re in. There’s obviously a lot of more choices in the warmer weather. You would expect to buy lots of vegetables and seasonal fruits. They also carry some Asian items, such as bok choy, bean sprouts, and Korean yams.
They have a deli shop in the back, carrying only Black Bear Brand, store made salads and sausages. That’s the only meat they have in the market. I would always go for their jumbo eggs, Italian wafer cookies, and Fuji apples. While there are plenty of simple baked goods, they stock Panera Bread toasts and bagels.
They also have a selection of freshly arranged flowers.”
“So recently I started adding oysters to my diet and originally I bought the unhealthy version of them from other stores, the dollar tree. I was shopping around ShopRite and Acme and none of them had what I was looking for then I got to the Whole Foods in Clark and I came across a gentleman named Alymir, who was very informative of the oysters. the employees I talked to at the previous grocery stores I went to, either didnt sell live oysters and or didn’t have much information on the oysters that they did have that were store packaged, Not live and raw ones that I wanted.
Anyways if you’re ever need to go to seafood section at Whole Foods in Clark and Alymir is there, he’s gonna get you right. he shucked the oysters for me, Let me know about the sale that’s going on on Friday which I will be back for and I appreciate his service. Many people are quick to complain about bad service so I thought I leave a review about good service I got.”

“LIDL is a chain of German discount supermarkets that is widespread in Europe. Unfortunately the goods available in the US LIDL are very limited. The LIDL in Italy are gourmet compared to this place and probaly closer to a Kings. There are cheap and useful goods and some good frozen fish. The bakery has much imlroved. The Italian bread is excellent and the baguettes, too.
They have good meats and fish, though the variety is limited
Same with fruit and vegetables.
Sometimes things are out of stocj
stock.
The Italiamo goods are often good.
I like their cheese selection, too.”
“This is a small Whole Foods store that has all the necessary essentials yet is still able to carry a large variety of merchandise. It's also an Amazon delivery and return location.”
“First time at this store and I was pleasantly surprised. It's huge. They have foods from all over the world. It's primarily a Spanish product store but they have everything. Their meat department is the nicest I've ever seen. You can tell it's super fresh. Produce aisle is spectacular. The store is immaculate. “Ursula is a very kind and courteous person at Italian Products & Beyond. Lately, I've been making an effort to support small companies or family owned businesses instead of buying so much from Amazon. I was excited to find this woman-owned importer to buy Portuguese sardines and and I hope to become a loyal customer.
I placed an order, they charged my card and Ursula said the warehouse was packing my order and it will be shipped out shortly. But the next morning, she emailed me and said that the shipping department found out they were out of stock of the Portuguese sardines until July 15th, and would I like a refund or a backorder. I immediately replied to her and requested that they cancel the order and refund my card. She did not reply all day and it's almost noon the following day and I have yet to receive an email from her regarding my cancellation/refund. I really was hoping to support this small company but I don't feel I will be able to after this stressful purchase experience.”
