“Great little neighborhood bodega. The prices are reasonable, decent selection of items and there is a sub shop in there. Prices are great and the portion is great. “Great system, you get there and register in. 5 to 10 min wait and you get a message to come in. Butcher shows you the meats with pictures and you choose whatever you want. Saved a lot of money but I have not used any yet so I dont know about the quality yet, it looks good but I don't know yet.”

“I stopped here on my way home to MD out of curiosity. The shop is mentioned in a CJ BOX novel. It's just a short distance from I95. Excellent and friendly service in a clean, well organized store. I purchased 4 varieties of sausage. My husband, a chef, said, "That guy knows what he is doing. The Brazilian chicken sausage is the best I have ever had." I will visit again the next time my travels take me through Newark.”

“They used to carry lamb and fish but today I didn't see any. Seems like one of their fridge is not working. Other than that, price for goat meat and hard fowl is great.”
“This poultry market is the best!! The staff is amazing and always so happy. They seem like they all work really well together. The chicken is always really good too! My family has been coming here for years and we have zero complaints!! Also for working with live animals, the place is usually always clean!!”

There is 2 different ways to get to this location!
So you park down the block or street and bring paper work to building at end of street .
they will let you know whenever the door is available!
The streets were really tight around this location.
Once you get a door , they will come out and guide you all the way till you are in door !

“A mecca for Brazilian, Portuguese, and other Latino food specialties. Portugue sardines, olive oil, dry cod fish, great imported cheese selection. Serra da Estrela cheese. I wish they would sell Madre d'Agua cheese. It helps if you speaks Portuguese, Spanish. Welcome to New Jersey. Love the quality and the ability to to able to purchase something from my home country. It's market prices, some of the items I go there for are imported items. It's a supermarket for good sake, it's has a supermarket atmosphere. The store is clean.”
“I came to this location for Eid- Ul- Adha 2021 after hearing they work closely with Mecca Halal Meat. The 1st of Eid, this place is heavily crowded and wait time are long and never ending. I came the second day 9 am when they open and I got my sheep and I was at home by 10 am.The Customer Service is rude, but I got my meat lol.The goats were old and skinny, though the sheep and cows were in great health.Over I will be here again next Eid إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُFor those who say it’s a dirty place, well it’s a butcher shop, I don’t think it gets any cleaner than that, and the one star reviews they might belong to the vegan protestors I saw when I went there lol.”

“@The NJ Traveler Honestly, this just sounds like one bad experience every time I’ve been here. It’s been nothing but good vibes and great service. People are so quick to judge off one moment but there’s clearly a lot more positive reviews than negative. I love this store. Always got their back. And every store has cameras that’s pretty normal. It’s for safety not to watch customers in a weird way. I’ve been there plenty of times never felt uncomfortable at all.”
