Batteries, medicine, phone chargers, groceries, diapers, etc. They have more cakes and snacks then most places and they're sandwiches are THE BEST! Ask anyone around, it's where we all go! And they're insanely affordable, which all of us love! Especially in these pricey times! And everyone that works there is super friendly! “I never been in there but I go to the pizza shop right next door but for what I can see, they get good business. They've been there for years. So I definitely recommend if you try not to get anything and both you could come here.”
“Good prices. A wide variety of food. And there's never as many people in the store as you would think by looking at all the cars in the parking lot. They have plenty of international foods, a dozen eggs are rarely more than $2. And the must have six different producer's of eggs they sell. Good deli. Good everything. Prices are lower than many places.”
“I gotta say most papi store sandwiches don't have enough meat and cheese. But they hook it up. However they are cheap w. The Mayo, and the oil vinegar and they skimp out on the salt n pepper. So if you plan on eating while walking to the bus or the light rail just know you sandwich is going to be rather dry. Also quite often I find my sandwiches in either day old bread or they're cutting them ahead of time and not storing them properly. Their lettuce and tomato doesn't have a soggy old tast so I deeply appreciate this. Ask for everything else, if u plan on getting plantains, onions, fresh yucca, stuff like that go to a real store. I've had some bad luck let's just say. They don't have the really good candy like Chico sticks so if your in a hunt go on 6th st behind kfc and totao barbershop. If you plan on buying anything in that store it's highway robbery. And they don't accept wic. but they take food stamps and they enforce the no hotfood law?.”
