About Thrifty Car Rental
Thrifty Car Rental at Newark Liberty International Airport offers a wide selection of vehicles with great deals, including up to 10% savings for prepayment. Customers can book using a debit card and enjoy a simple online check-in process. While some experienced long waits even after completing online forms, staff like Brian provided helpful curb drop-off services. Changing drop-off locations, such as from Newark to JFK, was easy and handled politely. Many customers appreciated the friendly and knowledgeable staff, including Evelyn, and the condition of the cars, like a nearly new VW Jetta. The rental process was smooth for those who declined extras like insurance and plate pass, with no unexpected charges at return. Overall, customers found Thrifty offering good value, reliable service, and convenient options, making it a solid choice for both business and weekend trips.

The vehicle has not been washed and when asked for replacement, the rep told me to wait

I showed up with a confirmed booking. They had no car, said they wouldn't have one for hours and refused to cancel the booking. Totally unacceptable
