“The best super market with in the area. Always has the best and freshest meat and chicken. Also have a wide selection of international foods. You will literally find anything you are looking for here. Staff are extremely friendly and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure their customers are satisfied. Owner has even offered to get me a ride home because my husband was taking too long to pick me up! If that doesn’t scream great customer service i don’t know what does! The owner and the arab butcher specifically are super friendly and always trying to put a smile on their customers faces by having funny conversations. Owner is always in the store which shows how much they care about their business. Could not recommend this store enough!”
“I went today for the first time to buy goat meat and let me tell you this place didn’t disappoint. The owner/butcher was super friendly and helpful. The prices are excellent/reasonable. I’m shocked that this place doesn’t have a 5 star rating. I highly recommend this place because I for sure will be coming back!”

“Sal’s is so much more than a liquor store, it’s an experience. As I walk in im greeted by the wonderful smells from the bakery bread, the atmosphere feels like absolute euphoria. When I was at my lowest in life and abandoned by everyone, sal’s stood by my side. It’s the only place where you can go to be treated like royalty for peasant prices. When running from the police one time the nice young man with glasses and a laptop let me hide in the freezer. Another time the young lad at the counter offered council in my custody battle and helped get my kids back. Overall this place is the best ever and definitely worth it 10/10 would come back.”
“Absolutely as good as it gets. I stumbled upon this tiny little place filled with love and great food, by accident. I love happy accidents! First off, it is run by an Ecuadorian family that is so friendly, so warm, so appreciative of your business, so willing to let you try the soup of the day, or provide an extra lemon or ask you if you want your sandwich cut in case you might lose some of the juices of the meat. They think of everything. I went today for breakfast since I was in the area for work and needed something quick. I ended up trying their yucca/fish soup - by sample and OMG - I never imagined having fish soup before noon but I am so glad I did! I ended up not even eating my egg sandwich and just drinking this lovely rich brothy delightful freshly made hot soup instead. The prices are cheap, the faces are friendly, the food is especially unique and flavorful. And there so many options - fresh deli sandwiches, home made empanadas - chicken beef cheese, rice and beans, stewed chicken, and even basic grocery items you may need. I absolutely love this place! If you are able to and are in the area, come hungry and experience some of the best latin/ Ecuadorian flavors of your life. Be open and you will Be Happy!”
“Lovely store, I’m on vacation in New York and this store is only 5 minutes away from where I am staying. I am from the UK and this store is very much like the UK Waitrose, an overall lovely store with good staff and a large variety of food to choose from. Fresh bakery, meat section and a huge range of fresh fruit and vegetables. Along with household products etc, a great store overall with plenty of parking”

“This is a local bodega, near my job. It's a great place to stop in for a quick inexpensive lunch. Deli sandwiches are approximately $4 each, and a steak sandwich is only $5. The food is delicious. I highly recommend this local spot to anyone looking for a yummy inexpensive lunch. Obviously since it is a bodega, you can grab some other items you may be in need of while you are there. I'll definitely be stopping in here again in the future.”
