“Aldi advertises refund plus replacement for purchased item that did not meet your expectation. This is a marketing slogan more than an actual guarantee that would ever work in practice due to unwritten rules you will find out when it is too late. The vast majority of items are good quality and hardly anything ever has to be returned.”

“I visited and shopped first time today - I live walking distance to the store! Wonderful little place - the butcher section looked amazing and super nice owner working hard! I found just what I was looking for and will be visiting again soon. So lucky to live in this multi cultural neighborhood!”

“It was the closest supermarket to where we stayed, it is not the best but at least you save money to buy snacks and breakfast, you need many practical things, but better than not having anything nearby to buy”

“I shop there all week. I like it, it's very clean, well organized... I've been getting there for 7 years and I liked it a lot but these weeks that I'm getting there I'm leaving... my things for delivery, those who are good at leaving leave it piled up... they're already filling up, then they call, that's not there for me anymore. liking”

“Outstanding Food, Clean Store, and True Community Champions!
Mercy for My Neighbor cannot say enough good things about Food Bazaar. As a nonprofit running several community programs across Hudson County, our team does our shopping here, and we are consistently impressed. Every time we visit, we are greeted by an incredibly courteous and kind team that genuinely cares about providing a great experience.
The food quality is always top-notch—which is vital for our programs—and the entire store is consistently impeccably clean and organized, making large shopping trips a breeze.
A few other major highlights for our organization:
• The Rewards Program: It is an amazing bonus that helps stretch our budget, adding great savings.
• Community Impact: What we appreciate most is Food Bazaar's heart for the neighborhood. Seeing a business actively donate to nonprofits that support low-income community members aligns perfectly with our mission, and it means the world to see that kind of local support.
When you shop here, you aren't just getting great food and fantastic service; you are supporting a business that gives right back to the community. Food Bazaar is a wonderful neighbor to Hudson County!”

“Walmart is walmart. When I go I usually go in the last hour before they close so it's not busy at that time. Don't like that they took away self-service checkout but unfortunately that's one way to deter ppl from stealing? Also don't like that it's now not open 24/7 but I guess they're gonna do what they need to in order to be more profitable, otherwise what's the point?”

“Aldi surpasses Walmart in value. Their selection is not as varied but honestly how many varieties of non-dairy milk, eggs, etc do you really need. There may be some days where grocery staples may not be available but this is not frequent. Morning hours are better than late afternoon or evening hours but that’s the case anywhere you shop at. I have seen more and more people from other areas shopping here. You’re all welcome. There’s enough to go around. Also know there another Aldi on Tonnelle Ave in North Bergen ?”

“Sal’s is so much more than a liquor store, it’s an experience. As I walk in im greeted by the wonderful smells from the bakery bread, the atmosphere feels like absolute euphoria. When I was at my lowest in life and abandoned by everyone, sal’s stood by my side. It’s the only place where you can go to be treated like royalty for peasant prices. When running from the police one time the nice young man with glasses and a laptop let me hide in the freezer. Another time the young lad at the counter offered council in my custody battle and helped get my kids back. Overall this place is the best ever and definitely worth it 10/10 would come back.”

“A typical New Jersey market. It has what you need. They also have junk food. If you need a drink you can get it here. There's bagels too. It's a small store but they fit a lot inside. It has a lot of convenience items. There's a good beer and sports drink selection. It also has fresh bagels. They are open pretty late. It's in a residential area. It's not that far from the hotels. The street is on a steep hill so it sucks walking.”

“This little neighborhood shop is a true hidden gem. Though it’s small, it has everything you need for day-to-day life—from basic necessities to a few treats that are always nice to have. What really makes it special are the owners, who are incredibly kind and attentive. Definitely a place worth supporting!”

“I used to work here as a kid with my cousin when they allowed kids and people to get paid for bagging since then they have the self checkout aisles which have been great most of the employees are also helpful there's a handful that are not very young they have an attitude every time something goes wrong with the machine I mean if you want to dress a certain way at home okay but when you come to work you should not look like Marilyn Manson when you say thank you they say uh-huh that's just so unprofessional I always say if you don't like your job don't work there besides all that the ShopRite is one of the best.”
