“Personally I have been shipping for 32 years but I have never received better service than this post office anywhere.
I ship UPS Fed Ex DHL and other companies this is one of the best offices in New York and New Jersey they deserve a raise!
Out of 5 I give them a 10.

“I cannot believe I’m writing a review on a post office but WOW. They’re seriously SO patient… SO nice… I’m befuddled. Felt like I was in the twilight zone. I simply had a package to drop off but there was a family ahead of me as well and the level of kindness and patience the lady displayed in helping them make their appt for passport stuff etc was mind boggling… I literally just saved this as my go-to post office”
“Mubeena is the best of the best. I can't ask for anyone better. She truly cares for every customer that comes in and you could see the passion behind her work. I haven't met anyone in the USPS in a long time that always makes you wanna smile keep coming back. I'm a local colonial resident and said that means putting my mail in the mailbox. I love stopping by and having a conversation with Mubeena. She is kind, caring, passionate, and overall a great employee to the establishment.”
“I am so thankful for Kathy Felton at the Helmetta post office. The whole staff was super nice but Kathy was truly the best. I had a problem with transferring documents and had a very bad experience with a post office in Sayreville that I was not getting any help resolving until I met Kathy at the helmetta post office. Kathy was very Knowledgeable and straightened out the problem I had in Sayreville. She went above and beyond for me, was super nice and really took the time to explain everything that was going on to me and how to take care of the problem. It is very rare to come across a person and business that are so caring and helpful they are the best and Kathy is a great person.”

“Never an issue for the past couple of years. Friendly and helpful as opposed to the horrible Hillsborough Branch. However once I went and it was closed for lunch because there was only 1 person working and her boss told her not to put a note on the door. So i can't give it 5 stars.”

Great vibes coming from her. I go there because of the treatment I receive and it’s the furthest one from me. Keep up the fantastic job Ms. Mei”

“Amazing place, I have a non verbal autistic kid, I take him with me every time I mail somethings, I can’t believe there is one staff she colored her hair with red wine color, she is very sweet with my kid, my son makes some loud noises, she never show any kind of faces instead she always say hi and greet us happily!”

I had such a great experience with Inez! She handled everything I needed perfectly and made the whole process quick and easy. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and even had a great sense of humor, which made the experience that much better. It’s refreshing to come across someone who genuinely cares about helping people and does it with such a positive attitude. Inez is a wonderful USPS employee and deserves all the recognition. Thank you, Inez, for making my visit such a pleasant experience!”
“Any USPS location is rated only based on two factors - how quickly do you enter and exit and how good was their customer service?
This is one of the few USPS locations that achieve both. They have a large facility so parking space is never a challenge and the staff are nice and friendly and they check you out sooner too. They have a passport facility attached to it which is great for US passport needs.
They are currently undergoing renovations as I write this review.”

“In fact, this place is good, or rather, the woman worker just does her job well! This employee gave me the opportunity to verify addresses before sending my letters. I sent a lot of registered letters, but despite this, she gave me the opportunity on her screen, a display in her system, to check the exact addresses of sending my letters. I told her that the last letter was very important for the lawyer, and she immediately understood me, and also gave me the opportunity to check the exact address in the system. This is far from common and not all post offices give you such a real opportunity, without even asking the employee about it. I've had a lot of bad experiences where postal workers simply refuse this opportunity to give you the right to check the exact address on the screen in the system. Thanks a lot for your great job!”
“This post office actually does what it’s intended to do: mail letters and packages and place sent mail into a correct PO Box. Not all USPS centers can do this, at all. The older gentleman there, is top notch there. He should be a model and example for what the USPS should ought to achieve every single day. There are a couple cranky employees, however so are some of the customers ahead of me in line. Nothing is perfect. This post office is great overall.”
“I don’t know these reviews are so low but I’m a local Sayreville resident and I always go here as a reliable usps. I once came unprepared and I was still treated and serviced with respect and empathy.”

“When you see a white SUV, expect great service from Gina. If you see a black SUV expect middling to poor service as the clerk who I cant remember is always on her phone and isnt polite. Thankfully Gina is there more often than not. They recently refaced the interior which looks nice.”
“This post office has never given me any issues, they are always polite, respectful, helpful. All of the staff are great, especially Ebony. She is a professional and she is always very helpful. I don't know anything about mailing stuff honestly but she never makes me feel bad for not knowing and always helps me through, giving me advice when I need it, she has the answers to all my questions.
I'm not sure what all the negative feedback for her is regarding.
she is not the warm and fuzzy type but I don't think you need to be to do your job well. she is kind and great at her job, an asset to the postal service, and I really appreciate her being there”
“Went to the usps office . Fantastic location. Right on route one… lots of parking outside.. we actually came here to take some printouts and some phtocopies , but they do not do that service ! Wish they had color printouts like UPS.. hope they also add notary services.
Otherwise this place is good. Regular postal services are perfectly good… just that my purpose was not solved.. 4 stars .”
“I always have a good experience when I use this post office. Packages seem to be delivered promptly to wherever I might be sending them. The staff is always courteous and friendly. I am very lucky that this little post office is nearby, and it is rarely crowded. I rarely see more than two other patrons.”

“I made a very important purchase on Aug. 26th of this year, it shipped out on Aug.27th…it then began the most absurd journey, bouncing from location to location within the USPS network…back and forth, but not making its way to my door. I tried calling, submitting a lost package claim, but no matter what I did I simply could not get anyone or any website tools to provide me assistance with getting a resolution and having the shipment delivered to my address. I than created an entirely random inquiry form and entered a family members home address, located in South River and to my absolute surprise…I received a phone call from Greg in South River barely a few hours later. While the shipment and responsibility was in no way, shape or form attributed to the South River location, Greg put me in contact with his team member, Bridget. To say I am appreciative and impressed with how quickly and effectively Bridget resolved my issue would be an understatement. She took it upon herself, with zero obligation, to contact every location my package was looping to, submitted a re-route form to every location and kept in close contact with me every step of the way to keep me up to date with how her effort was progressing. To my absolute shock and surprise, she managed to isolate the issue causing my package to death spiral, provided me to necessary information to prevent this happening again in the future and reached out to the associate who delivers mail to my home to ensure all involved were on the same page and landed my delivery in my mail box barely 3 hours later. I think it is important that whoever reads this or who ever is responsible for hiring and employee management is aware of just how lucky they are to have such a dedicated, competent, pleasant and effective resource on the team. Feel free to take a look at the attached collage of the majority of my packages shipping history to get a better idea of just how frustrated I was while helplessly observing. Your the best Bridget, even though you told me it was not at all necessary, I told you I was going to yell your praise from the mountaintop!”
