“I had a very positive experience with Ace Hardware – RHP Monsey, and I especially want to thank one specific staff member who went above and beyond to help me. He personally arranged for my items to be delivered, sent a messenger directly to my location, and walked out to the messenger to assist with loading the items. His professionalism, initiative, and genuine willingness to help made a real difference.
Truly outstanding customer service.
Thank you!”
“Celtic has been a great customer experience for all of our active construction projects we've used them on. Working with Christina Rivera, our Rep. is always a pleasure. She provides prompt responses, expertly selected alternate materials when needed, and great turnaround time on deliveries. Her representation of the Celtic Building Supplies company is a standard for the industry and we appreciate the continued elevated customer service.”
“Kawer’s has been our go to for their array of paint and our favorite Farrow & Ball colors since moving to Bronxville almost a decade ago. The very BEST part about Kawer’s is DAVE in the glass/mirror department. He’s precise, creative and his work is FLAWLESS in glass, mirrors, screens, Dave always delivers beyond expectations.”
“I had a few minor projects hanging around for months & one trip to Marsala Hardware & problems solved. Chris Jeffery could not be more helpful & kind with his assistance & suggestions. We are so lucky to have this local gem in our area! I hope everyone supports local & shops local ~ this place is awesome!”
“Purchased a barbecue in and out in 15 mins. Jason and Christian were extremely helpful and they are putting it together so I can pick up assembled at no charge. Will always come here for my hardware needs. Great customer service!”
“I just want to share how fantastic it is to have a local hardware store like this. I parked in front, put in for my free fifteen minute parking, and went inside looking for a part to fix my toilet. In literally one minute and thirty seconds (I had the meter timer running), someon helped me find the right part after I picked up the wrong one, I paid (less than I would have if I went through Amazon), and was out the door, back in my car, and on my way home. 10/10 experience. Will come here over Home Depot / Lowes / Amazon as often as I can.”
“Mark at best plumbing was amazing, knowledgeable and recommended other items to make the job not only easier but faster. Highly recommend this representative and without a doubt this Elmsford, NY”

“The team at ridge supply is absolutely incredible! You will NOT find better customer service anywhere else. The products they carry us also top notch especially the lumber!”
“The staff was friendly and helpful. Background music could help distract from the spooky, squeaky noises of the floor. Overall, it was a pleasant shopping experience, and we found what we were looking for.”
“What a great local hardware store. I used to own a true value store in Brooklyn. The people were friendly and very helpful as well as knowledgeable. Thank you for all your help”
“Preston was informative and very helpful. He made my shopping experience easier by helping me put together things I needed for my project. I would shop here again.”
“Looking for great deals on tools? This is the place. Particularly, good for hand tools and stuff were precision is not required. As Harbor Freight goes this is a new, clean and well run location.
Update: this looks like a successful location. Well stocked, clean and the staff seems to actually know where things are located.”

“A great hardware store! They look you in the eye and offer to help, the moment you walk in. For a small town hardware store, it’s quite large and they have a great selection. I will be back!”

“I always have a great experience buying from Nyack Lumber. Very friendly staff. They will cut the plywood down to the dimensions you need. They even said with the remaining strip that I could bring it back to get cut down again if needed for no charge.
They also delivered a whole deck Job worth of materials to Ossining for me which was so convenient!! They said they deliver to Westchester all the time.
I try to avoid the big box stores and this is a great alternative!”
“Whether you're a DIY painter who needs advice, or a professional contractor that needs to buy in bulk, this is the hardware store I recommend. The service that you get as soon as you walk in is absolutely unparalleled. These guys are knowledgable, professional, and the most personable crew I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The selection is fantastic, the prices are beyond reasonable, but what I love most of all is the attentiveness of each and every employee. I don't often take the time to write reviews, but these guys earned some kind words: it's hands down, the best hardware store around.”

“Montvale hardware is an icon in Montvale NJ … The owner is extremely accommodating even through Covid ! I highly recommended them for a big project or just a quick tube of caulk ! The BM paint section is wonderful. This place has that old school wooden creaking floor hardware feel and we in Montvale cherish it so !!!!! You must visit”

“EDIT- Sergio the president of the company called me apologized for the behavior of his team and made things right. The product is a good product. The frustration of my review was directed at the inappropriate communication of the customer service, Sergio apologized and promised he would fix that.
I ordered door knobs to replace the generic doorknobs that came with the Bellidini doors. I called the rep to verify the fit and functionality and he offered up that the lead time is quite long and to expect (4 weeks). Luckily I had planned for that. It’s now been 7 weeks. I get delays, as a general contractor that happens all the time not the end of the world.
I reached out for some clarity on the situation and ETA on the product. This is where it comes into play how SKETCHY of a business Door Design Labs is:
I asked them for an ETA April 2nd. Ruslan responds and says “ he doesn’t know. He needs to check back with the manufacturer.”
I wait until the following week ask for a status update. Ruslan says “he can’t exactly say. But if I pay extra he will ship it in the next couple days and I should have it.”
It’s a classic bait and switch scam. He conveniently has the handle he’s been waiting on after asking him for ETAs. But I need to pay more to actually get it quickly. The whole operation is sketchy. Just avoid them. Avoid belldini doors too. Just go EZ Jamb doors, take my advice as a general contractor, it’s not worth saving a couple hundred bucks to work with conmen.”

“Andrew was most helpful with a problem I had with my 3 DeWalt batteries and chargers, none of which worked, and I didn't know why. He explained that the models had been discontinued, and went to show me an adapter to purchase for my old drill. But then, he disappeared in to the back and came out with an unusable (for him) charger and battery that worked with my drill. He was so kind to let me have them! This is what makes Hometown Hardware and all the employees there so special as opposed to the big box stores! Thank you Andrew!”
“the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable, I always get the correct plumbing supplies and they save me time running back and forth to Lowes and Home depot multiple times!”
“Try this at Home Depot: I went over to Rockland county, New York, to help an 86 year old lady friend install a new mailbox. It sounds easier than it is, as hers was attached to 2 metal pipes, sitting in between other mailboxes. Rusty bolts and all that. Just getting the ancient one off was a task. After planning and measuring, we went to a neighborhood hardware store and bought a mailbox, but it turned out that they did not sell the wood we needed for the base. So we went to Beckerle in Congers. The man behind the counter treated my friend so kindly. He went to the back and found an old scrap piece of wood that fit under the mailbox. Plus, he helped me source the big screws and washers. He spent good long time with us to assure that we had what we needed, patiently and extraordinarily helpful. All that for $1.98. It was good old-fashioned service with a smile. I was impressed that there are still stores like this where customer service is top level, even if the actual profit is virtually zero. This place is the best of the best. Shop there!”
“Friendly staff. Called and ask for a part that they didnt happen to have Nd they recommended me to check a store close by! Awesome help they didnt have to do. When i do need supplies i will check here first!”
“The most helpful amazingly positive man I ever met. I believe he was the owner his name was Randy. Family owned. They have everything you need. If you have any questions he will take the time to show you. I would go here than Home depot any day.”
“Great sale on miracle grow soil. Friendly and helpful service. Appreciate the honesty and trustworthy feel of a small town hardware store, i hope they never close their doors!”

“Craftmaster Hardware, is where it's at! I'm a Maintenace Techniacian and a good portion of my job requires locksmithing. I exclusively shop here for all my locksmith needs. Why would I exclusively shop at one place? The answer is quite simple. They have unbeatable prices, fast shipping, and phenomenal customer service! The company I work for has an account with them, so the prices are ridiculously cheap; there's is absolutely no comparison. Their prices are usually 20-25% cheaper than the regular retail price. They're really good about shipping. Anytime I purchase an in stock item, they'll ship it out the same day and I will usually receive it the next day. Their customer service is top notch, I usually deal with a sales rep by the name Don; Don's the best! If I have any question about something I'm not familiar with or what kind of lock would be good with a certain application, he's pretty good at making a suggestion. A couple times I needed some out of stock items expedited and he was able to get them to me fairly quick. There's also been instances when I needed a something same day and I was able to pick it up directly from them. If you're a locksmith or a technician I highly recommend you check this place out!”
