Pet Stores & Supplies
Plaza Pet World
230 Livingston St, NorthvaleFantastic place, none better! I've been their client for decades, starting from the store they had in Closter before moving to Northvale. Felix and his wife are great people and are always willing to offer a professional, honest advice and go an extra mile for a customer. Their selection of products for my dogs is superb, and the prices are very competitive. They also have a good selection of aquarium fish that they select carefully: I never had a problem with sickly fish for infection when I bought from them (unlike other places.) Highly recommended!

Pet Care
Northvale Veterinary Clinic
212 Livingston Street, NorthvaleThis is the kind of veterinary care I didn’t know existed.
For 16 years, my dog never got the compassion he truly deserved—most vet offices felt cold and impersonal. Near the end of his life, I reached out here. Even though we weren’t patients, they listened, offered advice, and followed up to check on him.
When it was time, I brought him in. I was sitting on the floor with my dog, and Dr. Simon came in and sat down on the floor next to us. She immediately showed more empathy and attention than any vet I’ve ever met. She teared up and wanted to hear all about his life.
We laughed, we cried, and I left heartbroken—but deeply grateful.

Goldberg's Bagel's
216 Livingston St, NorthvalePedro is absolutely wonderful! Every visit to his bagel shop feels like a treat not just because the bagels are always fresh, perfectly made, and delicious, but because Pedro brings such warmth and genuine kindness to everything he does. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and takes pride in his craft. Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time in, you’ll walk out with a smile. Highly recommend supporting this gem of a place—and the amazing person behind it!
