“Trader Joe’s in Brick Plaza is mamash one of those places that you walk into “for two items,” and somehow you walk out with a tote bag full of snacks you didn’t know existed five minutes ago… and you’re smiling the whole way to the car. ?
First off, the vibe is always upbeat. The staff here is super friendly and on top of it — you can ask where something is and they don’t just point vaguely like “aisle… somewhere.” They’ll actually walk you over, explain what it is, and half the time they’ll hit you with a suggestion like, “If you like that, you’ll love this.” It’s very heimish for a big chain — warm, helpful, and no attitude.
The selection is what makes TJ’s TJ’s: all those signature items that are perfect for quick meals, easy lunches, and last-minute “we need something for the house” situations. Produce is fresh, the frozen section is a lifesaver (weeknight dinners, Shabbos prep shortcuts, you know the matzav), and the snacks are basically a full-time nisayon. Every aisle has something new that makes you stop and think, “Who asked for this?”… and then you buy it anyway. ?
Pricing is also a big plus. You feel like you’re getting good quality without having to take out a mashkon on the house to pay for groceries. And everything is packaged nicely, easy to grab, easy to store — very practical.
Now let’s talk real life: it can get busy, and the parking situation in Brick Plaza can be a little “chasunah traffic” at peak times. But honestly, it’s worth it. Go in with a little patience, maybe daven for a close spot, and once you’re inside you’ll forget the whole thing.
Bottom line: clean store, great energy, consistently good products, and a staff that makes the whole experience pleasant. If you’re stocking up, grabbing a quick dinner, or just coming in for “one snack” (good luck), this Trader Joe’s is a win.”
“We had unexpected company last night. I was on my way home and got a text from my husband, so I stopped at Wallachs and grabbed a few things. I got so many compliments about the food and I have to say I agree, everything tasted like it was from a high end restaurant ; eggplant pie, stuffed artichoke hearts *which are incredible*, focaccia, a HUGE perfectly ripe tomato and fresh mozz, and 6 giant pieces of crumb cake which I cut into smaller bites. We ate like kings and queens and I didn’t have to do a thing!!! So affordable too, I was shocked. This is my new go to when I have company. Holy smokes, get the artichokes. You’re welcome.”
“So much better prices than ShopRite. I ran in there for Macintosh apples and ended up buying a lot of produce and rye bread for 250 and a bunch of really good cheeses not overpriced. I will be back there.”
“Nice selection and some good bargains, but other items are pricey. It's kind of a cheaper version of Gourmet glatt with less selection. I enjoyed shopping there”

“Shopped at the Aldi's in Brick. Nice newer store and definitely well stocked. Picked up my Butterball turkey there @$1.04 per lb. They had the larger size ones there . I got 19.5lb. there.”

“I have my favorites that i always look for when i go. The store is small and they have to delete some items, like my favorite coffee flavored chocolate bar. They also run out of holiday specials and the aisle of shame specials early on and do not restock. That is not cool. But many of their items are delicious and not too expensive comparatively. I'll keep going as long as they carry the items i love.”
“Since having my back surgery, it’s been easier for me to order and pick up from Aldi‘s. I’m very grateful that the associate brings my cart full of food out to my car and actually puts it in my car!”

“The food was very good and so was the service. The lighting was a little too dark to see some people at the table. One of the meals was a little hard to tell what it was, a label should have been used on some of the food. Pork was hard to tell what it was for example. It was very good though.”

“Our dollar General is great. They offer many discounted food items as well as over the counter drugs and other household items. We go there almost every day to get milk/dairy and snacks. They also offer 5 dollar discounts on your purchases refundable on Saturdays.”
“This is normally the supermarket I use to fill in a couple items here and there when necessary mainly because it's more conveniently located, even if their prices are normally higher. That being said, they normally have a good selection of fresh produce that is decently priced and Boars Head cold cuts which I love. Today I was pleasantly surprised by their prices being a bit more reasonable and some great sales. I wish they had more "no sugar" items, but they are obviously on the upswing. I may even look at their circular from here on out. We'll see”

“Ordered food for 4 through DoorDash for delivery, and Dash texted me that the order was canceled - 30 minutes before the scheduled delivery. Some glitch between them and Burkes, so I called Burkes directly. Ethan handled the call and, while they weren't able to re-create the entire order, they were able to get me two chicken parm and two eggplant parm entrees, plus two orders of chicken fingers delivered hot and on time! Ethan and Burke's came through for me bigtime, and the food was delicious. Thank you!”

“The day I had trying to fill a prescription with a savings card at CVS was so unnecessary. After tons of calls to my insurance, CVS, and the medication company, and even dragging my baby to CVS, I decided to transfer my prescription to ShopRite (transferring even suggested by my insurance) Betsy the pharmacist is amazing!!! She did in 10 minutes what CVS couldn’t do in two days! She was so pleasant to speak with and knows her stuff! Thanks for making my night so much easier Betsy! : )”

“I love Dollar General however last night I went in mainly for milk and butter but the shelves were bare where it would normally be. They had half and half but no milk or butter. I also noticed another customer looking for something similar and walked out with nothing.”

“There are not words to describe the gratitude I have for the staff who handles the online orders that I place and then pick up outside when they are brought to my car all of the people that are seem to be kind caring compassionate and very knowledgeable about the products when they pull the order for me it is as if they are pulling them for themselves meaning to say I always seem to get freshest produce as well as the nicest cuts of meat and wonderful bakery products I can I tell you how much I appreciate the staff and I want to say a special thank you to Aubrey who went so far above and beyond helping me buy packing the products pulling the order and bring it to my car which I could not have done.. thank you so much Aubrey.
