“Trader Joe’s in Brick Plaza is mamash one of those places that you walk into “for two items,” and somehow you walk out with a tote bag full of snacks you didn’t know existed five minutes ago… and you’re smiling the whole way to the car. ?
First off, the vibe is always upbeat. The staff here is super friendly and on top of it — you can ask where something is and they don’t just point vaguely like “aisle… somewhere.” They’ll actually walk you over, explain what it is, and half the time they’ll hit you with a suggestion like, “If you like that, you’ll love this.” It’s very heimish for a big chain — warm, helpful, and no attitude.
The selection is what makes TJ’s TJ’s: all those signature items that are perfect for quick meals, easy lunches, and last-minute “we need something for the house” situations. Produce is fresh, the frozen section is a lifesaver (weeknight dinners, Shabbos prep shortcuts, you know the matzav), and the snacks are basically a full-time nisayon. Every aisle has something new that makes you stop and think, “Who asked for this?”… and then you buy it anyway. ?
Pricing is also a big plus. You feel like you’re getting good quality without having to take out a mashkon on the house to pay for groceries. And everything is packaged nicely, easy to grab, easy to store — very practical.
Now let’s talk real life: it can get busy, and the parking situation in Brick Plaza can be a little “chasunah traffic” at peak times. But honestly, it’s worth it. Go in with a little patience, maybe daven for a close spot, and once you’re inside you’ll forget the whole thing.
Bottom line: clean store, great energy, consistently good products, and a staff that makes the whole experience pleasant. If you’re stocking up, grabbing a quick dinner, or just coming in for “one snack” (good luck), this Trader Joe’s is a win.”
“So much better prices than ShopRite. I ran in there for Macintosh apples and ended up buying a lot of produce and rye bread for 250 and a bunch of really good cheeses not overpriced. I will be back there.”

“ALDI in Toms River is basically the definition of “do a quick run” that turns into a full-on haul… for the price of a coffee and a danish. ?

The prices are legit, especially on staples — dairy, produce, snacks, pantry basics — and the store-brand stuff is often surprisingly solid.
A few pro tips for anyone who doesn’t live in ALDI:
Bring a quarter for the cart (yes, it’s normal, yes, you get it back, yes, the first time feels like a shidduch shailah).
Bring your own bags or be ready to bag in the car like a seasoned professional.
The checkout is fast — like, fast fast — so have your payment ready unless you want to do that awkward “hold on one second” shuffle while the line grows behind you.
The staff here are usually friendly and efficient, and even when it’s busy it moves along pretty smoothly. Parking is straightforward, and it’s an easy in-and-out for a weeknight grocery run.
Bottom line: if you want good quality basics, great prices, and a no-frills shopping trip that doesn’t take your whole day, this ALDI is a win.”

“Really good prices. I like the store because it's not an overwhelming selection. Basic stuff, plus some extras. They moved the item locations, but shelves are easy to scan for product. The aisles are very clearly marked. Bathroom is always clean and supplied.”

“The food was very good and so was the service. The lighting was a little too dark to see some people at the table. One of the meals was a little hard to tell what it was, a label should have been used on some of the food. Pork was hard to tell what it was for example. It was very good though.”

“This is normally the supermarket I use to fill in a couple items here and there when necessary mainly because it's more conveniently located, even if their prices are normally higher. That being said, they normally have a good selection of fresh produce that is decently priced and Boars Head cold cuts which I love. Today I was pleasantly surprised by their prices being a bit more reasonable and some great sales. I wish they had more "no sugar" items, but they are obviously on the upswing. I may even look at their circular from here on out. We'll see”

“Just finished up an Amazon delivery route in the morning, so i was in the area looking for a good breakfast sandwich. I googled and found this place a couple minutes away. I ordered the belly buster which had fried eggs, hashbrowns, pork roll, sausage and cheese. OMG! This was literally the best breakfast sandwich i ever had. It was big, delicious and just a sandwich of epic proportions. If im ever in the area, i know where im stopping again! Kudos to the person on the griddle. They make a mean sandwich!!”

After tons of calls to my insurance, CVS, and the medication company, and even dragging my baby to CVS, I decided to transfer my prescription to ShopRite (transferring even suggested by my insurance) Betsy the pharmacist is amazing!!! This group of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are absolutely the kindest, most helpful, and truly the best I have ever had. They take care of me, answer all questions and are absolutely patients first. So many pharmacies are NOT. Do I wish there was a drive through? Sure. But is it worth giving that up so that I feel 100% safe and confident in the consistent services I know I will receive? Absolutely. If there's ever a shortage of a certain medication, they call me, anything at all and they stop to take time and check on it for me, and they are just so kind to me every time I go there.
