“I can’t say I am a handy person but I had a few projects that needed to be done. I had a fantastic experience at Home Depot, all thanks to Dave in the electrical department. He is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through my project from start to finish. Not only was he kind and patient, but he also made sure I understood each step thoroughly.
Dave didn’t just stop at the electrical part; he accompanied me to the lumber department to ensure I had everything I needed for my project. His effort to go above and beyond was truly appreciated, making my visit a wonderful one.

“I worked primarily with Christy and she was terrific. She was responsive, proactive, professional, patient, and knowledgeable. She advised the smart combination of semi-custom and custom cabinetry for my kitchen, mudroom, and laundry room and when I threw her a couple curve balls, asking for features Home Supply had never installed before, she very gamely researched and specified them exactly right. Additionally, the Home Supply installation team was top notch. They were personable, knowledgeable, and meticulous. They brought a few issues to my attention and were clear in explaining my options so I could make the most informed decision about how to proceed. I would highly recommend the team at Home Supply and will absolutely use them again for my next home renovation.”
“The store itself was clean, organised, and full of beautiful plants and flowers. Most of the employees I interacted with were kind and helpful.
Unfortunately, I had a negative interaction with one staff member in the outdoor garden department. He accused me of taking a cherry stem from a plant when it was already there, and the way it was handled felt rude and unnecessary. Aside from that moment, the rest of the visit was positive.”
“I remodeled my house a few years ago and had to decide whether to use the big chain across the street... Or Beckerle lumber who have been there for decades. As price was an issue I did my research. When all was said and done Beckerle was iby far the wiser choice. The Big chain across the street was completely useless. Nobody knew what they were doing and nobody even wanted to help me. The guys at berckerle we're amazing, professional, and so helpful they probably saved me thousands of dollars with their knowledge. They saved me from making countless mistakes and we're always there for advice when I needed it. They went above and beyond to make sure my project was completed on time and on budget. If you're doing work, do not waste your time going for discount products and service. Go to the professionals. Trust me they are the best. I will never go any where else.”
“I’ll be honest, I haven’t always loved coming to this location. I usually try to get in, grab what I need, and head out. In the past, I’ve run into moments where the service felt unfriendly or unhelpful, and when I need real assistance for a project, I’ve sometimes chosen to drive to another store instead.
That said, I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with Ms. Coco a few times now, and she completely changes the experience. Every single time I deal with her, I feel taken care of. She truly understands customer service. I even saw her calmly step in to mediate an argument between two customers in line about who was first, and she handled it professionally and with confidence.
If more interactions were like that, it would make a big difference. I really hope her approach reflects the direction Home Depot wants for serving the Paterson community.”
“I had such a positive experience with Austin from the garden department he knows so much about the plants! He showed me all the Perennial plants and even a section in the back I was not aware of where I bought a bunch of hydrangea’s! The Lodi Home Depot is closer to me but I like coming to this location because the associates are more knowledgeable and are very helpful!”
“I mean it's Lowe's, you walk in, somebody's going to point you in the right direction, usually you're going to find someone close to the aisle you're looking for who can take you the rest of the way.
They have everything, it's price cheap.”
“IMO Lowes is better than Home Depot, the store is huge and has everything you need, but I think the parking lot needs to be more organized, I do like the self scan option, that's a plus, oh and I think they need price scanners on the aisle to check prices, that way customers can double check to make sure the prices are accurate...”
“Clean store, helpful staff, and they usually have everything I need for landscaping jobs in stock. The pickup process is quick, the garden center is well organized, and it’s easy to get in and out without wasting time. Definitely one of the better Lowe’s locations around.”
