“It is not easy to get in given that the parking lot on a Sunday was beyond full, and to make it even better there were people and vehicles going in every direction. An accident waiting to happen. They apparently have a parking structure as well but I saw no signs nor evidence of it.
That being said the store has an amazing selection of kosher foods. Deli, meat and fish departments, bakery, sushi, it just goes on and on. Was able to get some things that we could not find anywhere else, e.g. farmer cheese in multiple sizes from multiple different dairies, frozen gefilte fish, again many types and brands, great onion pockets and challah rolls, etc. The store was extremely crowded and difficult to navigate but overall wonderful to see such a selection of foods of my heritage.”

“So I came in to buy just a few things in a hurry. I never been in a Trader Joe's but I like the cleanliness and atmosphere. It's definitely smaller than most grocery stores I've been in. I definitely see they have more organic and healthy items than you would find in a regular grocery store. I would come back for specific items but maybe not regular shopping”
“We love Grand & Essex food and often buy their takeout. So when it came to making a shabbos kiddush/lunch for 100 people we were excited to order from them --and we're so glad we did! We ordered over a dozen different items, and every single thing was both absolutely delicious and also beautifully presented and it all very much contributed to the celebration. “I go here mostly for the prepared foods. They are delicious and nicely packaged to use right away or freeze. The marinated chicken cutlets are a favorite along with too many things to list here. It is a little pricey, but worth it for me to have something ready to go for dinner quickly. The store is clean and has many self-checkout lanes and the staff are friendly.”

“This Asian grocery store is great! You can find anything you need for your dinner recipes. The vegetables and fruit are fresh. There are premade food as well as a little area that sells freshly made items. I finally found a smaller wok here and it is really well made.”

“Surprising variety of staple Asian groceries and snacks! My sister used to bring me here after school to pick out cute stuffies and stationery stuff too. Household products, and beauty too. Surprise sushi bar in the back! I tried to order in store but they had so many orders I had to call in! Sushi was very fresh and delicious, big portions of fish for the nigiri! definitely will be ordering again ? ありがとう!”

“I visited this place today with my son. It is a small family owned store, the young ladies who helped us were so kind and helpful. They have a big selection of items from Thailand. I loved that I was able to find all that I was looking for and got some things to try for the first time. We are not from Thailand but my family and I love foods from all over the world. We tried their warm sweet fried dough for the first time and we all loved it! I will definitely go back again soon, though we traveled 30 minutes to get there. Thank you so much for the kind help. “I like this new store and I go there now for most of my shopping. However, who is the genius who put the big cobblestone-like strip in the parking lot when you come out with your cart? It's like off roading with your cart rather than being able to just push it on smooth asphalt. Poor design.”

“I've been shopping here for the last year, and it's a good store. But today I picked up my Holiday catering order and WOW... they were amazing. Customer service had 3 rep's so there was always someone available, they walked me to the catering table where I was greeted by multiple smiling folks, all waiting to help. No waiting in line at crazy holiday tables, with people cutting the line (as I've had at other Whole Foods). I got my order fast and with care - they went over everything. From here on, doing all my holiday orders here!”

“I have lived here and shopped at ShopRite of Pearl River (twice a week at minimum) for over 30 years. I had an unpleasant experience today at self checkout over an item that scanned incorrectly. It was minor really but the attitudes of the self checkout team member and the front end manager, whom I have never seen before (I will assume he is new), were, to me, major. ShopRite...your loyal customers are not there to steal, get reproached, or have precious time wasted. Stop and correct the bad behavior now before shopping at Stop and Shop looks like the better experience!!!
I want to post this long overdue update...giving it Five Stars. One of the Shop Rite managers called me to express concern and discuss my experience. He assured me that my experience, as well as appropriate protocol, had been discussed with staff. I very much appreciate the call, the concern and the follow-up. Love my Shop Rite of Pearl River!”

The only thing that I probably would change is the music but other than that great experience. They have some of the nicest employees you will ever find that helped me out countless times.”
