“I moved to Sayreville from NYC a few months ago. Tried a couple of halal spots in the area and they just weren’t that good. I passed by Robins, a convenience store that happened to sell halal food in the back. Great decision because this food was a lot better than I expected. The portions are a good size. I got a chicken platter with rice and french fries which was delicious. I love spicy food so my only recommendation would be to give the hot sauce a little bit more kick but other than that I’m completely satisfied and will definitely be returning. “Krauszer's was here before Wawa came about and still seems to be surviving. They are a smaller, simpler version of your local convenience store. The coffee is just fine and they have a larger variety of snacks and drinks than the mainstream convenience stores. They also carry microwave popcorn that isn't available at the "big box" convenience stores.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
