“Great experience at this store. Especially Gisella who was so courteous and helpful. Also Mr. Jeff who loaded the appliance for us. We had a rough day going from store to store without any assistance from anyone. Until we meet these two saints. Thank you guys!!! For all the help.”

“My office building had a partial power outage and lost lighting in many offices. While I was too busy to run over to the store for some temporary work lights, I made a call to Ace. Not only did they have several lights and extension cords in stock, Mitch and the team had them delivered in mere minutes. Needless to say, this is just one of many reasons why we have been using Anchor Ace for several years. They always save the day!”

“Renata was absolutely wonderful to work with during our kitchen renovation. She helped us select the perfect sink, kitchen faucet and water filtration dispenser faucet. Now that the project is complete, we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. What stood out most was Renata’s professionalism, patience, kindness, and genuine care throughout the entire process. She listened to what we wanted, offered thoughtful guidance, and made us feel supported from beginning to end. She is truly exceptional at what she does and a tremendous asset to her team. Every time we walk into our new kitchen, we’ll remember the important role she played in helping bring our vision to life. Renata deserves every accolade. Five stars for Renata without hesitation!”

“When the electronic lock in my wife’s store broke I called Bunchers Hardware asking them to recommend a locksmith . I have been shopping there for 25 + years. The women answering the phone, in a pleasant manner , to said “ we have one here and will have him call you .”. Ten minutes later Frank called me and said he would “be there by days end.” He spoke to my wife ,found out her hours ,and arrived after her last customer was seen. The lock was repaired ,and my wife was able to go home knowing the front door was secure. We cannot than Frank and Bunchers enough for quality and caring service Dr Sherman”

“This place is great. I stop in for all kinds of things and the staff is always helpful. Today, Ken helped me with the parts to fix my grandson’s wheelbarrow. It would have taken me forever to figure it out on my own. So many bolts! So many little drawers. Thanks Ken!”

“They sell knowledge. They're convenient, and helpful. Not afraid to say they don't know if they don't. 40 years I've been shopping there. So price is a minor factor. They'll help you save time, and avoid disappointment.”

“The team at General Plumbing Supply was great during my recent master bathroom renovation. This was a project I had poured my heart into for months, and I needed guidance on a few final decisions, particularly around lighting and mirrors. Jaclyn Neusner was a pleasure to work with-cheerful, patient, and incredibly helpful every step of the way. I also truly appreciated the back-office team, who handled every detail with care, including a few exchanges along the way. Their thoughtful, “old school” approach and personal attention were a breath of fresh air especially in a world when so many interactions have become faceless! I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you so much!”

“I called Wallington Plumbing Supply to speak to someone to help me find a replacement part for my toilet. Allen was the sweetest, most helpful person I’ve ever had the pleasure to deal with. He took the time to listen to my problem and did the research to locate the part that would fit my toilet. He went above and beyond and even texted me the pictures of the parts. He brought a smile to my face… Thank you again Allen for your patience and your kindness…?”

“I’m in the Johnstone florham park location almost on a daily basis and just wanted to share how impressed i am with everyone on there staff I have had at least one interaction with literally everyone there and they are the kindest most helpful group of people I’ve ever delt with at a supply house through out my 20 years in the trade I would also like to give a special shout to Brian D at the counter. He is one of my main contacts there and has exceeded expectations from day one. He’s eager to help when I call with tough or stupid questions and some how always gets me the parts or the answers I need even with the lack of information I usually have. Keep up the great work and superior customer service. Thanks, Jeff j Ps:see you soon !”

“Costello's Ace Hardware is my go to spot. There was one located in very close proximity to my Fabrication / Machining / Repair / Detail - shop. 95% of the time they have what I'm looking for. I have gotten to know all the staff and they are always very friendly and accommodating. They also offer my company a business discount which is nice. And they stock a lot more things than you would imagine a hardware store would. I am also a custom builder by trade and they have all types of hardware that I use daily. Give them a try! You won't be disappointed.”
223 Main St, Chatham NJ 07928
“It’s just what a small town hardware store should be Staff is excellent. Very helpful advising on types of paint for each project. You can walk in with a random nut or bolt and Walther knows exactly what you need to pair up with it. So if some say the pricing is a little higher than going to the “bigger” stores, the service and convenience is well worth it. Who has the extra hour or two to drive to a highway store, and then wander around with no one to help you, only to stand in a long checkout line? Village hardware is the gem of downtown Chatham And if you bring your “friendly well behaved” dog, the staff will give it a milkbone. Been going here 18 years and enjoy the experience every time”

“My local Ace Hardware store is much more like a mom and pop shop(which I love!)rather than their huge competitors! If they don’t have what I need, they will order it for me. The staff was incredibly helpful with finding the products that I needed along with using one of their 50% off coupons.”

“We have been a customer for decades. They run a good business, and we are fortunate to have them nearby. The senior guys are very good, the first floor guys are good, the second floors guys need to step it up (the second floor has been declining for years), and the guys out back are very good. It can be expensive.”

“Knowledgeable, helpful service staff. If they say they have it, they do. You never have to look for parts, etc. Good prices, and a much better experience than going to a hardware store.”

“Wish I could give this place 10 stars! I ordered composite deck boards from them back in November. They were so friendly and helpful! I immediately felt comfortable asking all my questions. They were very accommodating with working around my schedule for delivering the materials. The delivery was very professional and organized. I was impressed! Not a drop and run like some places. The deck still looks great months later! I can't recommend this place enough! And be sure to say hi to Sox, the store cat, when you stop by!”

“If you are in need of tile I highly recommend visiting Wolf Singer Design. Their entire team is incredible. Diane, their designer, is truly amazing. She helped us put together tiles for two of our bathrooms and they turned out beautiful. You can get a range of tiles as far as price and style from here. We needed to go very economical on one of our bathrooms, and Diane did not hesitate for a moment to find us tiles within our price range. Definitely make a visit if you are in need of tiles!”
