“After a long New Year’s Eve in New York City, I drove out a little bit on the way home and I decided to stay here. I watched the ball drop on TV from here. The room was pretty clean and the front desk service is good although the location is not ideal because there is really nothing to do around here. It’s very quiet and there is nothing crazy going on here. Well I had a good night here and woke up on the right side of the bed in 2024.”

We cannot recommend the Pleasantdale Chateau highly enough. If you are considering it for your wedding or special event, stop looking. This venue is truly in a league of its own.”

“Excellent service from the time we walked in the door until we paid our check. Cocktails were excellent and not your ordinary cocktails you can tell a lot of thought and skill went into them. Food was excellent and so was our server. He was very engaging and had a great personality. The dining is very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place and will go back for sure.”

“Just as promised, everything was perfect. Our guests had a wonderful time, the rooms were gorgeous, and the food and service were excellent. You truly took care of everything, allowing the parents of the groom to simply relax and enjoy ourselves. The best part is that our son, daughter-in-law and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Jim, thank you for meeting with me multiple times, answering every call and email, and always being that calm, reassuring voice. Nick, your coordination of the entire event was masterful—seamless and unobtrusive. I appreciated that more than I can say. We felt genuinely cared for and heard by both of you, and we're so grateful for that.”
“Came here with my 2 year old. This place is excellent. Huge space, plenty of room for everyone and ton of activities and toys. People are kind. A special shoutout to the onsite cafe- the personal pizza pie will rival most pizzerias in quality. Anyone with a negative review- you must be one of the types that complain about everything. This place is perfect to keep your toddlers engaged and get social interaction with other babies without being on top of each other.”

“We’ve been photographing weddings at The Madison Hotel for more than 10 years, and it remains one of our favorite New Jersey venues to work in. The Conservatory, the ballroom, and the grounds all offer beautiful light and a ton of great spots for portraits. The staff is always welcoming and organized, and couples consistently tell us how smooth their day feels there. Every time we’re back, it feels familiar in the best way. If you’re planning a wedding at The Madison Hotel, we already know the layout, the timing, and the best places for photos, and we absolutely love working at this venue.”

“We have had our event at PHS for a few years.it’s an event for adults with special needs. PHS have always gone above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great time. From set up , to take down t hey staff is amazing! The DJ is awesome ! He’s on the floor with the “ kids” getting them involved and having a great time. . Can’t say enough about the team at PHS!”
“I’m so happy to write this review! I was planning a rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding. I was not familiar with the area near the wedding venue. I specifically wanted a location to accommodate 50+ people and allow me to bring in my own alcohol. I found The Warehouse online. Right from the start, I was greeted warmly by Lisa, who was able to talk me through the space, menu, staffing, pricing, etc. She patiently answered my litany of questions, worked within my budget, and presented me with a menu and plan for the evening. In a nutshell, the food was fantastic, the space was beautiful (shabby chic/rustic), very comfortable for the group. The staff managing our dinner, led by Noemi, was superb! She attended to every detail, beautifully displayed the bar options, food, and desserts. Not a detail was missed! We never felt rushed in anyway. I highly recommend The Warehouse for any event!”
“In just a few days, the upcoming Lunar New Year brings the Year of the Dragon on February 10th among East and Southeast Asian cultures. It’s fifth in the 12-animal Chinese zodiac cycle and the only animal that’s a mythical creature. This afternoon, my partner and I arrived at the Woodland, located off of Woodland Road in Maplewood, to celebrate Lunar Fest NJ 2024—Maplewood Arts & Culture. Completed in 1930, the Georgian Revival-style mansion and adjoining auditorium have been a hub for Maplewood’s vibrant cultural and civic life for over eight decades. The unique event features lion dance, performances representing Chinese, Mongolian, Thali, and Korean cultures, children's activities, and delicious food trucks, which brought out the crowd.”
“On a scale of 1-10, I would give the Food Company a 15!! They were absolutely amazing!! The food was outstandingly delicious and the service was wonderful. They were so attentive to us and very professional and friendly. They added so many personalized touches to our wedding, which made our event even more special and memorable. Our guests were truly blown away by the food and the service. Many said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding -- both the cocktail hour selections and the buffet. We truly can't thank them enough. If you want first-class catering, delicious food, impeccable service, and nice, professional people -- hire the Food Company. You won't go wrong. “The centerpieces for my son's rehearsal dinner were absolutely beautiful, and actually, better than I could have imagined. I loved how Christina incorporated so many of the elements we discussed. The purples, blues and yellows were just perfect for a late summer event and the textures were gorgeous. We were able to bring them over to the Crystal Plaza on Saturday morning and everyone enjoyed them in the bridal suite. I just wanted to thank you and your team at Caldwell Flowerland for helping me make our part of the wedding weekend beautiful.

“We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. A special thank you to Hermione at the reception, who was incredibly kind and always available to assist us with anything we needed. Eric was also extremely helpful, especially in arranging and driving the hotel shuttle to our nearby office always punctual and supportive.
The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was enjoyable, with particularly good coffee.

“This Hyatt house thing is the best is comfy and is very affordable. Also the free breakfast is soooo good like their eggs and bacon and pancakes are so good I tried everything and in my opinion is so delicious. So if you want to stay somewhere that is comfy and very affordable go with Hyatt house they give you everything you need and the cleaning is amazing.”
