“I have always been hard on ShopRite as I find their layout featuring sky high pallets, consistently high prices and "when we feel like it" service to be fully ingrained into a chronic, soul deadening experience. The good news is that this formula has been repeated so many times over the years that I'm fully immune. This week I've been under the weather for a few days so I dropped in for some their prepared hot and sour soup. Damn, I hate to admit it but it's fantastic. Surely, the employee that prepared this doesn't come from their highly dubious pool of usual suspects. Like the courtesy counter person who denied vociferously that ShopRite did not have a policy giving you the item for free if it rang up wrong... when a sign as big as her torso stating as such was hanging right behind her. It's almost comical, all except for the soup which is magical. Four solid stars.”
“I always have a great experience here. The employees are consistently friendly and helpful, and whenever there’s an issue at self-checkout, someone is quick to step in and assist. I shop here 3–5 times a week—it’s my version of “European shopping.”
A special thank you to Kayla, Christine, Tamara, and Toni, who are always ready to help with a warm, welcoming smile.”
“Now THIS is a grocery store! We have 3 stores in town, Stop and Shop which is such an awful place it is literally "the bad part of town" now and the police blotter backs that up. Once in awhile Shoprite is ok for the big sales on big name products, but their services are terrible and nothing is made fresh in store. PQM has it all though. Reasonable prices, locally owned and operated, a world-class catering service and the friendliest staff and management of any business around! If you have any issues, whether you get assistance from a high school part time worker or the owner himself (yes, you will actually see top management and owners working here), you will receive their care and attention as if you were one of the family. Keep up the great work!”
