“Location great, check in easy via check in screen and registration available via phone (in my case didn’t open up desk provided 1 page sheet) staff excellent respectful courteous time wise overall in and out wonderful! Yes I would definitely recommend and return if needed”

“Dr. Blumenthal has been treating myself and my family for over 20 years. My husband met him once during one of my appointments and immediately made him his new practitioner. Dr. Blumenthal genuinely CARES! When I describe him to others, I compare him to a “father” who is always looking out for my best interests and well being and is always rooting me on, through life’s ups and downs. He doesn’t just ask about the reason for my appointment and rush me out so he can get to his next appointment but, he takes the time to ask me how I’m doing and what’s going on, something a family doctor should always care about. He always asks how my family is doing and when I bring my two children in to see him, he’s overjoyed!! I can honestly say that he’s the kind of doctor that is so caring and compassionate and truly supportive that he almost feels like he’s part of your family. I’m looking forward to my 8 year old being old enough to become his new patient :)”
“If i could give this office ten stars i would. I had to choose a new PCP because my family doctor decided to change their practice to a different style that would not have been affordable. Number 1 reception staff top notch. Made me felt like I belonged there. Very warm and caring. Then i had my appointment with NP Renee Rojas. Never before has any provider ever taken the kind of care she has in my health. It was like I was not leaving till she was sure all basis was covered. I am grateful for finding this practice and am happy my original PCP did what they did so I could come here.”

I normally am one to really dislike going to any medical appointment but when I go to see Maria its always a great, comforting experience.The front desk and checkout staff are also great !”

“Been coming here for years along with my family. Doctors are great and always have been. Whoever the receptionist is now though is careless and rude. Doesn’t say bye - just hangs up, seems too busy to be bothered. Told her I had the flu and asked on Wednesday if there was a virtual or phone appt and she said no. I asked for the next day and she said they had something for 10:30 Thursday which I took because I told her I had the flu and couldn’t come in. Her response was “I’m looking at the schedule” in a snippy tone for no reason. I get up after having no rest because, well, THE FLU, only to see that my appt is for FRIDAY. I called to tell them whoever scheduled was not only rude, but scheduled me for the wrong day. Whoever answered must have been the same girl unless they all have the same attitude because there was no apologetic tone. Just that she would cancel it. So I said “thank you I appreciate it” only to be met with another hang up and no goodbye. I was a receptionist in the medical field for years and I get it. But like, people are sick. People are tired. It takes nothing to be professional and kind on the phone when it’s literally your job.”

“The people there are pretty friendly (the majority of the staff), which I say with care because it can be a challenging neighborhood at times. I miss the library near there as well as the smoothie stands and the Whosoever Gospel Mission, which I really appreciate. Whether it was home goods or clothes, when we needed things, it was one of my first choices. It wasn't shopping just for the sake of shopping. It serves a purpose. Thanks for asking. -Debbie”

“I started going to Mt Airy Family Practice 5+ years ago after my PCP closed her practice. I tried out multiple offices before I found this one, and immediately knew I'd found my new office. It has a cozy, residential vibe that does not feel like an impersonal clinical setting which immediately makes me feel relaxed. Marissa Patterson, NP is the bee's knees. She's an absolute gem who has seen me through some major medical events with care and knowledge.”
“I've never had a bad experience at this office. Been coming here over 5 years. The staff is absolutely wonderful, kind, sincere, compassionate. Everything you look for in a PCP office. Contrary to previous comments, I think Dr. Willard is awesome! Just like her staff I found her very kind and compassionate. “I have been coming to this office for a couple years and as I read others reviews I have also experienced the same……but…. In the past year I have seen a big change on how they handle patients and problems that arise. I have noticed the change. I had a problem an felt like I wasn’t being handled appropriately and spoke to the supervisor who was understanding and ready and willing to find a solution. That was something I didn’t get in the past. Walking in the door and being greeted without attitude was something I didn’t get before. I’m gonna be honest when I first started coming here I didn’t like it at all but now things have change ALOT. If your reading these reviews understand that people sometimes only talk about the bad and forget to talk about the good and that is why I wanted to right this review. Now I’m not saying that what they are saying isn’t true because it could be but try them out for yourself. Work still needs to be done but they are moving in the right direction and a lot of things have changed for the better starting with the staff.”
“Personally, I think it has improved now that it is in a new location. The lady at the medical station was really helpful and kind when I asked to get a form signed. Probably just depends on certain staff but the ones I've met have been great.”
“I went in twice in the past month. One for an IUD placement with Dr Booher and Natalie and one for a Colposcopy with Dr Davis and Evy. The doctors are great! Talked me through both procedures and calmed my fears along the way. The medical assistants were both amazing and attentive. I appreciate the patience and understanding I received from all of these women. My wait time has never been too long and everyone including front desk and the team had been respectful and polite.”
“I can’t say enough about how awesome this place is. A little bit of a wait time… but the doctors/ providers are so thorough. Based on the reviews that I see on here… they don’t get enough credit. It’s hard to be a doctor/ work in the medical profession nowadays. I have never had a bad experience here. I’ve had about 5 visits. I’ve seen two different providers and encountered a lot of the staff. They are great! Please keep in mind while reading these reviews that some people are just hard to please. A lot of people think they know everything when they have no medical knowledge. It is unrealistic to expect no wait times at a medical facility. Quality care comes at a price. I never ever feel rushed here. Everyone deserves all their questions and concerns answered and unfortunately that brings wait times. Good job to all the staff. Clearly you aren’t told how awesome you are!”
