“Been coming here for years along with my family. Doctors are great and always have been. Whoever the receptionist is now though is careless and rude. Doesn’t say bye - just hangs up, seems too busy to be bothered. Told her I had the flu and asked on Wednesday if there was a virtual or phone appt and she said no. I asked for the next day and she said they had something for 10:30 Thursday which I took because I told her I had the flu and couldn’t come in. Her response was “I’m looking at the schedule” in a snippy tone for no reason. I get up after having no rest because, well, THE FLU, only to see that my appt is for FRIDAY. I called to tell them whoever scheduled was not only rude, but scheduled me for the wrong day. Whoever answered must have been the same girl unless they all have the same attitude because there was no apologetic tone. Just that she would cancel it. So I said “thank you I appreciate it” only to be met with another hang up and no goodbye. I was a receptionist in the medical field for years and I get it. But like, people are sick. People are tired. It takes nothing to be professional and kind on the phone when it’s literally your job.”

“The people there are pretty friendly (the majority of the staff), which I say with care because it can be a challenging neighborhood at times. I miss the library near there as well as the smoothie stands and the Whosoever Gospel Mission, which I really appreciate. Whether it was home goods or clothes, when we needed things, it was one of my first choices. It wasn't shopping just for the sake of shopping. It serves a purpose. Thanks for asking. -Debbie”

“After calling everywhere to make an appointment and couldn’t get an appointment for months out. I called this place and I was able to make an appointment within the same week. I didn’t have to wait in the waiting room long and overall had a pleasant experience.”

“Personally, I think it has improved now that it is in a new location. The lady at the medical station was really helpful and kind when I asked to get a form signed. Probably just depends on certain staff but the ones I've met have been great.”

“I started going to Mt Airy Family Practice 5+ years ago after my PCP closed her practice. I tried out multiple offices before I found this one, and immediately knew I'd found my new office. It has a cozy, residential vibe that does not feel like an impersonal clinical setting which immediately makes me feel relaxed. Marissa Patterson, NP is the bee's knees. She's an absolute gem who has seen me through some major medical events with care and knowledge.”

“This has been my primary care for a couple of years now. It has always been great and I have always felt that the staff here really cares. More recently Dr. Rhonda has been my physician and she always goes above and beyond. I never feel rushed or just like another patient, she always takes her time asking in depth questions. This last time I was in she asked how my personal/work life is going which led us onto the topic of my sisters new baby. She saw that I was due for a tetanus/whooping cough vax and advised me to not hold off if I was planning on being around the new baby. I had only come in for a permit application physical, but left feeling lucky to have a Doctor who is so attentive to details. All the staff here are super professional and make my visits a stress free experience. Big thanks!!”

“I went in twice in the past month. One for an IUD placement with Dr Booher and Natalie and one for a Colposcopy with Dr Davis and Evy. The doctors are great! Talked me through both procedures and calmed my fears along the way. The medical assistants were both amazing and attentive. I appreciate the patience and understanding I received from all of these women. My wait time has never been too long and everyone including front desk and the team had been respectful and polite.”

“Love the office and staff but the elder lady in the front with reading glasses & blonde hair needs help with her customer service skills. She made me stand and wait til she was done chatting with her coworker to check me in. She barely checked my info and insurance to tell me I had to call the 1 800 number in the back of my card to verify my coverage. I have insurance and it covered the visit. Not only that, she said I was a "pleasure to have in the office" once I had to do her job. It isn't hard to be kind and take care of the patient at your workplace. Please do better.”

“I have been coming to this office for a couple years and as I read others reviews I have also experienced the same……but…. In the past year I have seen a big change on how they handle patients and problems that arise. I have noticed the change. I had a problem an felt like I wasn’t being handled appropriately and spoke to the supervisor who was understanding and ready and willing to find a solution. That was something I didn’t get in the past. Walking in the door and being greeted without attitude was something I didn’t get before. I’m gonna be honest when I first started coming here I didn’t like it at all but now things have change ALOT. If your reading these reviews understand that people sometimes only talk about the bad and forget to talk about the good and that is why I wanted to right this review. Now I’m not saying that what they are saying isn’t true because it could be but try them out for yourself. Work still needs to be done but they are moving in the right direction and a lot of things have changed for the better starting with the staff.”

“This was my first vist to Einstein Center One. To be trueful, I had never heard of it before. It was given to me as a option instead of going to Einstein main campus on Broad street in Philadelphia. Most of the time, if I need to get any tests like x-rays, mammograms etc. I would go to Elkins Park. This particular test was not done there so I chose Einstein Center One. They offer services for primary care and specialty doctors located in Northeast Philadelphia. It was easy to find and had plenty of free parking. Security was friendly, helping me find my way. I had pre registered on line, so checking in was seamless. I didn't have to wait but about 10 minutes and was called in for my study. The technician was friendly and made me feel at ease. I was out and on my way in least than a hour. I would definitely go back to the location and highly recommend it.”
