“Lou’s Jeweler’s is a charming old fashioned family run jewelry store owned by Lou and Rita. I was recently introduced to them after learning about their reasonable watch battery prices and quick turn around time - and I’m so glad I was.
Lou replaced several batteries in both men’s and women’s watches and even repaired two men’s watches that other jewelers had told me were beyond fixing. I had even sent one back to the manufacturer who claimed it was repaired - but still did t work. Lou fixed it without a problem. Before doing any work, he carefully explained what needed to be done and provided clear pricing, which I truly appreciated.
I also brought in a very old cross pendant that belonged to my husband’s grandmother. My husband had worn it his entire life until the top clasp broke off over 35 years ago. We had been told by multiple jewelers it couldn’t be repaired but I always kept it in my jewelry box. Lou restored it beautifully and I was able to surprise my husband with it on his 64th birthday. It was an incredibly meaningful gift made possible by Lou’s skill.
In addition. Lou created a replica of a unique gold Turkish ring that my husband’s grandmother had given me over 35 years ago. Despite having limited time before Christmas. he crafted a perfect copy for our daughter. He even suggested putting both rings in a box under the tree to see if she could tell them apart - she couldn’t! It was such a special moment.
Lou has repaired, shortened and lengthened gold bracelets, fixed watch bands, and we have even purchased jewelry from their store. Lou and Rita truly take pride in their craftsmanship and customer service. Beyond jewelry and watches, they can custom make just about anything, offer ear piercing, and even repair all types of clocks - including cuckoo clocks.

“I just want to give a big shoutout to Gallo Jewelry. Like most dudes I got a watch I liked and wanted to change the leather strap it came with to a metal bracelet. Of course, I thought “oh I’ll just be able to change it myself.” Well needless to say I couldn’t do it myself. So I stopped into Gallo and was helped immediately. I explained my situation and Rob, the gentleman helping me chuckled and had the bracelet on and sized to me within 10 minutes. When I asked how much I owed him he told me not to worry about. “I had the unfortunate experience of losing the center stone of my wedding ring. I was completely distraught and my mom and I spent a day shopping for rings , I couldn’t decide whether I wanted a new ring or to have my previous ring remade. When I met with Thomas and his wife Hannah, they were just incredible, it was the weekend and it was extremely busy and they took the time to show me ring after ring trying to find something new for me. They offered to create something for me, they offered to replicate the ring that I had, they spent time and they were kind and patient. The first day that I went shopping, I left with nothing and had made no decisions, but their kindness and their patience left a lasting impression on me. I returned to them the following week and asked if he could replicate my original ring which was an engagement band and an insert, but I wanted it made into one piece. Not only did Thomas listen to everything that I wanted and create a ring that was above and beyond what I could have imagined, replacing the center stone, and replicating the look of my original ring , but he did so at a price that was beyond fair. I picked up my ring yesterday and it is more incredible than I could have imagined. But what really is incredible, is the character displayed by Thomas and his wife and sons. This family business is my new jeweler. . I recommend them wholeheartedly. They are honest, kind, patient, and a master at their craft.”

“I brought my 95 year old aunt to Boston Lewis get a ring cut off of her finger. The ring was so tight she could not remove the ring and it was causing her hand and arm pain. The people there are angels!!!! They were able to cut the ring off and give her sooooooo much relief!!! Would recommend them without hesitation. They have such beautiful items in their store!!!! Will be going shopping there soon!!!”
